Crazy question. Need for a geology lesson - do these float in water ? Thanks !

Yes, they float. Not sure if they’d eventually sink if left in the water for days, but usually during the 30 mins or so when I use it, they float on top of the water.

Do this work on top of my feet where the dirt is???

The stone is only for removing calluses and dead skin, you cannot use it on good skin. It will tear the skin. It is very rough.

what is this made of?

I believe it is made from pumice. Pumice is a volcanic rock that consists of highly vesicular rough-textured volcanic glass, which may or may not contain crystals.
