Depends on how you define "Kosher". If you celebrate by overeating potato pancakes that discomforture has nothng to do with observance of the holiday.

This hanukkia is a gift for my son in san antonio tx. is it ok?

The Menorah is very nice, I would think that your son will like it.

Does your menorah base wobble on a flat surface because of the screw under the felt? Mine does. Not sure if that's a defect or how they all are.

The screw that attached the top and base do not line up. So I can not screw it together. So I had to glue it together. Would not buy any other item from this vendor.
