Are these hard or chewy?

They are hard, slightly smaller than a tic-tac breath mint. No sugar at all. It will dissolve in your mouth in a couple minutes. Some have commented that these are bitter, but I don’t think so. They are just pure licorice flavor without sugar.

Seller, where is the usda certified organic label? you say you are 100 percent organic. please explain b/fore purchasing again. thank you.

what are the ingredients?

WRONG! THere's 2 ingredients: organic anise flavor is the 2nd. Who knows what "flavor" hides! Do a search on "natural flavors" to see what I mean. Btw, REAL licorice tastes NOTHING like anise & vice versa. Licorice is bitter & way too strong, it's rather disgusting actually! Anise flavor sweetens it up. It might make you crave sugar but plain licorice is also an appetite suppressant. 50/50

What is the organic anise flavor? is it made from real anise? or just an additive (aka msg) ... often you will see "anise flavor" or "natural flavors"

The name says it all "organic anise". Organic cannot be modified. Organic anise means PURE anise. The package says it all. Licorice root and anise extract are the ONLY two ingredients.
