are they safe for working in trees[climbing, limb cuutting etc.]?

I would think so, I've had over 250lbs supported suing two straps

What is the weight?. I haven't found it anywhere

Mine are a bit heavier than claimed by Ralt. 12oz for everything, 11.6oz without the stuff sack. See my review for pics.

So this can be used to hang 2 hammocks at a time?

No, you would need a second set of straps to hang another hammock. This set comes with two straps, one for each end of the hammock.
