The shower head was easy to install and came with great directions. There was one small step missing in the instructions (it’s been a month and a half and I don’t remember exactly where but it involved a rubber washer. When I turned on the water for a test run and it sprayed out from where it shouldn’t, I figured out where the extra washer went 😄).The photo is day one or two after using the filter. Before buying the filter, I had gone to a new hair stylist and she commented that my extreme brassy tone (purple shampoo didn’t help at all) is because we have such extremely hard water where we live. We also have so much chlorine you can sometimes smell it (Phoenix, AZ suburb in case you’re wondering). I’m absolutely shocked at how fast my hair went from dry and straw-like to soft and silky! I noticed a big difference after the first wash. And the brassy tone that really starts to set in after about two weeks after lightening my hair… nope! No brass.On another note, unexpectedly I have also noticed a dramatic difference in the skin on my face. I usually notice a big difference from summer to winter in how parched it looks. It looks just as soft and smooth as it does through the warmer months. - I won’t wash my face with any other water now. I go to the shower to soak my wash cloth.It’s been a month and a half and I just barely started to feel like maybe the filters were becoming a little bit less effective so I went ahead and put new ones in. The shower head actually has two. Technically, one is a fifteen step purification filter and one is a vitamin additive step, I believe. I do think I could have gone a while longer before replacing them but they aren’t expensive (about $9 each currently if you buy a 2 pack). Changing the filters couldn’t have been any easier. You simply unscrew the shower head and pop a new one in after you give the new filter a good flush. I didn’t even have to take down the shower caddy I have hanging from the shower head or anything.To sum it up, I love, love, love this thing and don’t ever want to go without it. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I heard about this shower-head/filter from the girl who cuts my hair. She had recently moved to our town from a neighboring area where they use well-water.She was commenting that after a few weeks, she noticed her hair was falling out - a lot. She did some research and discovered that Union County NC had changed their water disinfectant treatment chemicals used in the municipal water supply several months prior to chloramine.Not long after we moved the area, my wife began noticing her hair was coming out as well. She attributed it to stress, etc.My hair stylist suggested we buy this filter since it had worked really well for her. I did and nearly immediately, my wife noticed her hair was not coming out anymore.I also had some issues with small itchy patches on my arms that also began after we moved to the area. I assumed they were from allergies. A dermatologist did not really know what they were and played them off. After a week or two using this shower-head with the vitamin-c and e filter in it, the rashes cleared up. I had not even considered it was because of the water.Honestly, I was surprised by the results. It was worth a try, but it really seems to be helping.

I am no handywoman, but I have a basic understanding of how to read instructions and this was super easy and quick to install. Take it one step at a time, pay attention to details, and you won't have any trouble. Took me 20 minutes. I included 3 pictures to show that there are 2 areas on this shower system where the height and angle can be adjusted. Some people seem to be overlooking this and are writing that it's too low. It can easily be raised! The quality is pretty awesome for the money. I love the flow. The head has got a ton of tiny little holes with high-pressure water flow, so it feels super soothing and covers your body very well (my old showerhead had half as many holes and it just didn't feel as effective--I can get a more complete shower in less time because of the way this head has designed the holes in the faceplate). So far, I do notice I feel less dry and uncomfortable after a shower, and for whatever reason, I barely have to dry off when I get out. I think the water is less slimy or something. I used to feel like I was slicked with water when I got out of the shower, but now it's like it's just soaking in or something. I could probably get away with not even using a towel because I suspect my whole body would be air dried in less than 2 minutes. I really love this shower!!! The handheld wand is very large and heavy for use as a handheld, but it doesn't bother me at all. I love that it's versatile, and moreover, it looks beautiful and works perfectly just as a regular fixed showerhead, so if I don't want to use it as a wand, it's no less functional. I am incredibly satisfied and super happy I got this. I'm also impressed with the fact that the replacement cartridges are so reasonably priced.
