JOYO PREAMP HOUSE IS A WINNER
I'm a big fan of Joyo pedals and this one does not disappoint, I got it on sale and I'm delighted about the price. What is Preamp House? It's a two channel programmable preamp with one channel voiced clean and one voiced dirty. The instructions are not good but after reading them and a bit of experimenting the Preamp House delivered the goods for me. You use the controls to set up and create your clean sound, then press and hold the clean channel selector footswitch to store the sound in the clean channel position. Then repeat the process for the distortion channel, press and hold to store the sound. You're now ready to play. A three position toggle switch controls where the single cab IR is implemented, it can be off or on and the switch allows you to put it on the 1/4" output, the XLR output or both outputs. The single IR is a 4x12 loaded with Celestion speakers, fortunately for me that is my favorite cab configuration. The IR adds a lot of low-end fullness and reduces high frequency fizz on distorted tones. A single mono effect send and return loop is located prior to the main output. I'm currently running a Joyo "Atmosphere" reverb effects pedal in the loop and it sounds great. The "Clean" channel sounds really great, the Fender models are my favorite but there are many great tones available. The "Dirty" channel can really crunch and sing, the EVH voice is outstanding, I like all the dirty sounds and have had a lot of fun experimenting with them. A favorite feature is how the Dirty channel gets cleaner as you turn down the guitar driving the Preamp House. I've done most of my playing and testing of the Preamp House pedal using a Gibson SG and a Line6 Variax Standard guitar. Clean acoustic guitar sounds are full and rich, crunchy sounds easily go from Clapton to AC-DC to Stones and even Black Sabbath. One caution, the Joyo Preamp House requires more current than a 9-volt battery can provide. I tried a brand new Duracell 9-volt and it would make the lights light up but the pedal produced no audio. When I powered the pedal with a 500ma power supply output I was rewarded with big rich sound. (Hint: the Joyo Atmosphere pedal also likes more current than a 9-volt battery can deliver). I personally like this Joyo Preamp House pedal much better than the more expensive SansAmp or Strymon Iridium. While the Iridium allows more IR capability it does not have an effects loop nor channel switching nor the ability to store your settings. The overall build quality on the Joyo Preamp House is excellent. The metal work is heavy duty and all the controls feel good and solid, the pots are smooth without any scratchiness. The paintwork, nomenclature and silk screening are all very high quality as well. The Joyo Preamp House turns my little battery powered Bose S1 FRFR speaker into a fire breathing Marshall or a Fender Deluxe Reverb or something in-between, I could easily gig with this combination and be happy with the dynamics and tone. The Joyo Preamp House WAY exceeded my expectations and fulfills a need. It allows me to play rock guitar without dragging along a dedicated guitar amp. The XLR output can drive a PA system direct while the 1/4" output can drive a stage monitor amp like my Bose S1 or I can turn off the IR on the 1/4" output and plug into one of my Marshall combo amps. Preamp House is a great pedal, great tones, great features and a great price. Good luck and good music to all!

Nice preamp sounds amazing when settings are right
Alright got my Joyo preamp house R-15 series and it makes great sounds. However I have three different amps and one combo amp which is what I used to make the video today. I will start by mentioning that the pedal doesnโt work well with all amplifers guessing that you have to try yours out to get the idea of wether you like it or not. So anyway any brand names mentioned in my video post is not for any commissions nor advertising purposes. Now the pedal has nice quality knobs and buttons as well as plugins seems nice and sturdy not a cheaply made product. Itโs easy to use and setup your programmed settings for each model on the pedal not difficult to use at all . Iโve not used the pedal connected to any computer but only to amplifier and the guitar. Left side button controls clean channels right side button controls the distortion channels -Programming- example: switch on your amp model on distortion side model 2 -Then set your tone knobs and volume level when youโre done and happy with the settings sounds -press down the distortion channel button and hold down until the led lights blink, when light stops blinking its saved for that model -now hereโs where I think people are getting confused, if you turn on your pedal switch it the model that has been set from last time it will continue to play those same settings you did -but if you turn any of the knobs it loses the saved settings so remember this and you will need to start over again and set once more All models clean and distortion channels are done the same way as I mentioned above So far every amplifier model on the pedal sounds great but I think some of them are just a little plucky like bassy and too much treble no matter what your set at on the pedal You also have to make adjustments on your amplifier tones as well so donโt forget that part And thatโs the part that I donโt like about it Iโm guessing all pedals do that but to me itโs annoying and makes things way off one way or another. Back to the sounds from the pedal, like I said it creates awesome tone and sounds alot like what theyโve simulated here on the pedal. So if you want that big MB its here If you want that nasty Marsh itโs here And thats all I can say. Now in my video I mention its getting very warm to hot in around 5-10 minutes after play and I donโt know why either because itโs connected just as instructed by the manual So Iโve contacted the seller at Joyo and theyโre working with me to help out. My guess is this one is defective because thereโs nothing wrong with any of my equipment as far as that goes. I will update more on how things turn out later on Get one of these you will be amazed by the simulation of amps on here

For this cost it does quite a bit and quite decently well!
I was looking for an amp sim on a budget and came across this one. Was a great plus that this had an FX loop and two channels. My overall view on this is that it's quite a good pedal at this cost (probably top for me, I've used a Behringer Amp sim before this). Pros: -- Two channels! Gives some more variation and in the amp model I'm using (UK 900), the gain channel is quite responsive to how I play the guitar. -- Versatility: While I have found and saved my favortie Amp settings, the ability to quickly switch amps for different genres is amazing! Cons: -- For the high gain channel, I did get some noise (might be WAI). -- Again on the high gain channel, the EQ seemed a bit off. where the knobs didn't change the tone much! the overall sound felt a bit throttled. I'm found a work around by have tweaking my input using a BD2. In terms of sound quality, I've never had the more expensive pedals other than a couple of BOSS so I wouldn't be able to compare. However, I've used a few Fender and Marshall amps live and this one does emulate those decently. I've got quite a few pedals that go before this and have managed to get some decent tones. For the Aquarius: I've always only had a single type of delay, and with this one I've been having quite a it of fun exploring the different delays and how they can be used for ambient and some interesting tones. Still need to stress test this but like it for now. For the JOYO Revolution series, the DESIGN is a total win for me. I really do like the lights around the pedal. Might get the Noise gate next.

I have not tried all the amp models but the Vox and Fender Twin are both great.
I bought a JOYO Preamp House. Good sound! I have not tried all the amp models but the Vox and Fender Twin are bothgreat. Gain and volume controls are sensitive in some ranges. This means I need to tweak it to match output level needs for a venue's PA. But when it is set well, this is a usable simulation of a mic set in front of a combo amp, without picking up unwanted stage noise or feedback. I especially appreciate the send-return for other pedals, and having an XLR output. I have decided all amp or cab simulators should have an XLR output.

stopped working after three months, zero after sales support
It worked fine for three months, but now the lights just blink and produce a hum. I went to their website and clicked on post-sales support; it's a blank page. There is a phone number, but it is in China, very expensive to call, and useless unless you speak Mandarin like they do before they hang up on you. It appears there is ZERO support on any JOYO products. This is a shame because the preamp was very useful, but it is a total waste of money if it breaks in three months and you have no recourse. I highly recommend STAYING AWAY from any Joyo products. UPDATE: After this review Joyo did contact me and after having me try several things to diagnose and try to fix it , deemed it broken and gave me a refund. So there is after sales support. When the pedal worked it was great and did what was claimed. I may at some point repurchase another.

It... Works-ish.
Amazon wants me to talk a about the Delay. This is NOT a delay pedal. It is a functional amp modeler and pre-amp. The models are pretty good. That being said, after 6 months it developed a ground hum that can't be isolated even with the lift switch. The fittings need to be tightened regularly. It's better suited for rehearsal and studio work because if you accidently tweek a parameter mid song it will fade in and out with a nice whining pitch until you "set" it. For the most part mine has become a powered direct box for the studio.

Quiet cleans and insane dirt excellent!
I started down a path that led me on a long journey of purchases and returns until I got to this amazing JOYO Preamp House. Lots of reviews praised the JOYO American Sound which I found good until about noon position on the voice knob at which point it became very hummy static like and just didnโt carry well at volume for me. Why after that did I try the preamp house? IDK, but so glad I did what an awesome tool. I need to play through headphones alot, check. I want my sound to sound the same in headphones as it does amplified, check. I wanted to be able to use my Focusrite Scarlett DI, double check via XLR sounds are clean and clear. I thought I would only be using the fender twin voice, but I also found I really like the full sounds from the messa boogie (position 4) clean tone. I have lots more to expirement with but so far I really like the flexibility and versatility the Preamp House is providing. I play everything from Nirvana to Wes Montgomery and in between - so far this ha been a great base sound with or without additional effects added.

PREFORMS WELL... BUILD CHEAP
Cheap/poorly built Chinese stuff BUT it works great as an amp sim. I got this and power jack was loose and it kept powering off. I got a replacement and it was also loose but it worked a little better. The SLIGHTEST jiggle of the power cord will shut it off. Wish this flaw was corrected bc this thing is GREAT when it works.

Verificar bien los productos antes de venderlos y enviarlos
Compre el Joyo Preamp House y llegรณ fallado. Al conectar a la alimentaciรณn de corriente se enciende, pero se apaga en unos segundos. Ya por el con varios adaptadores de corriente y nada.

Awesome!
This is a great pedal. The tones that you are able to get are amazing! I love that it has an FX loop which really allows the user to make the most of this unit and the tone of and feel of a real amp when using time based effects. The simulated cab is also a great addition! Itโs very rare to have a simulated line out that sounds as good as this. This pedal is great for home practicing, recording demos, or even it live. I love it! I wish that Joyo! Would send me pedals to review! ๐

Didn't like it at all. Pre Amp OR the 10 band EQ
I'm a actually a pro signed guitarist fairly recently (2yr). And when I was exploring gear I heard good things on this and reviews on youtube etc but nah.... Not for me at all and went for the $400 pre Amps instead lol. UPDATE: Amazon won't let me review the 10band EQ I got from joyo it only let's me review this original review of a totally different pedal.. Disappointed again I'm afraid. Super noisy. It's versatile and the tones you can get are awesome, I was able to reduce the mussy sound my Gibson les Paul was giving, pick up low tones and raise mids and highs to give it that appetite for destruction sound and was awesome but unfortunately the background noise was horrific. I used voodoo labs gear. Sound decimater 2 pedal, still noise, even with no OD or dist. Etc mega noisy.... Add the OD and Dist and was out of control so returned it. I couldn't get into this at all... The presets weren't impressive, amps didn't sound like what I'd expect for eg. the vox didn't sound like a vox to me, it also crackled terribly on clean and was very hard to keep its gain low even when turned low, any hardish strumming on clean gave a distorted sound to some degree and a crackle with it....major issue for me that... It's the ugliest 'clean* sound I've ever heard Distortion was loud and noisy. Mega buzzing. Horrible. It's cheap and really not good to me at all... I ended up just getting a universal Ruby pre Amp instead... Significantly more expensive but worth it for the size venues I'm playing with an audience between 2k people and 6k per show 4-5 days a week. I wouldn't even use this at home because it's so off putting I just didn't want to even bother playing because I knew it would sound bad and so I returned it. Also very annoying to bypass it you have to manually hold both buttons down at the same time which you can't do with your foot. So you're gona be on your knees lol. Dials are cheap nasty plastic too and it's flimsy and light, wouldn't expect it to last too long. I really wouldn't bother. Save up and get a good pre Amp that's renowned tried and tested, pre Amp is super important kit for you along with a good quality compressor. Boring pedals yeah but super important so you wanna spend your money on those things. Buying the newer MXR instead that's been designed to be quiet apparently

Defective, tampered with
Unit i received is partially defective or jot fully engineered, but works decently, mainly the distortion settings sound off and requires the right setting to sound clean has different sound depending on what output is selected, the distortion button also dosnt work somtimes and have to push 2 or 3 times to switch and clean channel switches everytime, the sound dosnt hold a preset intuitively and have to wiggle each knob to reset and adjust everytime,
