LIQUIGEL Lubricant Eye Gel, 0.5 fl oz (15 mL)

I've suffered from dry eyes for quite some time, give or take 4-5 years of my early adult life. It was quite bad, and I desperately needed something to hydrate my eyes. I was recommended to use this lubricant by my doctor as an over-the-counter (OTC) remedy. It's a gel, not a runny liquid, so it's supposed to act as a film over your tears to prevent them from evaporating too quickly. I found that it's very effective! Not only is it easy to squeeze the bottle and get a nice drop or two out, but it provides great relief! It last for quite some time too. I tend to use this twice a day: one in the morning, and another in the late evening. Overall, it's a nice lubricant eye drop! It's worked for me very well for the past couple of years. I no longer need it, but it's definitely brought me a lot of relief when I needed it. Great stuff!

Helped my dry eyes, feels thick and great to use during spring!

Hiya! It helps the crazy itchy allergy eyes. But that being said, there's a 10 second or so mild stinging.

I honestly thought I was never going to get relief and just thought it was something I lived with. But this product changed everything!!! No more draining eyeball. No more feeling like I have something stuck in my eye. This coats the eyeball and you can feel it moisturizing the eyeball. I can’t say enough. It’s literally hydration for your eyeball.

These make my dry eyes get much better all day. I was using Systane preservative free but my eyes were still dry. The ophthalmologist told me she prefers these as well so I switched. But to be fair to Systane, she said I need to reapply them more frequently throughout the day. So this is the winner.

I’ve been using Refresh Tears for more than decade. This is my first time trying Refresh Liquigel. I’ve had Lasik twice this century, and the second time my Lasik surgeon told me it would likely cause my eyes to get dry and I’d need to use eye drops daily. I got it because in recent years. Along with using eye drops during the day, I put drops in just before going to sleep. In recent years I’ve noticed that when I wake up, my eyes can often feel dry. So I decided to try drops that are thicker than the Tears I use daily. The Liquigel drops have been great! My eyes feel fine when I wake up after a full night’s sleep. So these work exactly as I’d hoped. The one thing about these drops that I’ve experienced is that after I put them in, my vision is blurry for quite a while (10-15 minutes). I found this out one night when I put in Liquigel drops around 30 minutes or so before I planned to go to sleep. My vision does not get blurry at all from using Tears. So I continue using Tears until, literally, I’m ready to turn all lights out. Then I put in Liquigel. It’s a routine that works really well for me. The only drawback I’ve found is that, when I wake up, there is often crustiness from the Liquigel drops. But that is easily and quickly washed away just by splashing some water on my face.

This is my favorite eye drop. I use a cpap and sometimes scratch an eye and often wake up with very dry eyes. This gel soothes so well. The package is small but lasts about a month in that I don't have to use as much as a watery drop. This works so well for me that I'm ok with the price.
