Having recently tried Montezuma’s Absolute Black 100% Cocoa bar, I feel confident in recommending it but with a caveat, this is not your typical sweet chocolate bar. Good dark chocolate, rich texture

Ok this chocolate is not for the weak. Very bitter, strong and an acquired taste. I have a square with a date otherwise its just too strong for me. However, its the only chocolate bar I know of that is 100% cocoa. So this bitter taste is ofcourse expected! Good quality and great packaging, i want to try all the montezuma chocolate. I can tell it is great quality chocolate, I rarely see it on the shelves though which is a shame. Good value for money and ofcourse healthy ingredients. Lovely appearance on the packaging. Eaten in small doses its great. I think i would get dioreah if i sat and munched this entire bar in one sitting. So If you want to enjoy chocolate but not over indulge, get this but have it with a glass of milk or a date haha.

Good afternoon firstly we love this chocolate food value USUALLY GOOD QUALITY.Sadly when opening one bar from my last batch order it was just a discoloured lump of chocolate not sure what it actually was. This is first time . I have ordered this chocolate now a few times over past few months..See the photos..Just disappointed but still love it

Montezuma's Is a grandiose name but the chocolate well deserves it. It has a lovely dark, rich texture and taste with just a hint of mature bitterness. It is the fine wine of 100% cocoa chocolate with all its incredible health benefits. And, unlike equally expensive dark chocolate of other brands, Montezuma's does not have dangerous levels of lead or cadmium in it.

This is the worst food item I ever tasted but I will try to eat it as I am quitting coffee and I need something to wake me up while working, mix it with water will taste like espresso

Lacks flavour. Kind of bland.

OK, I’m using this chocolate for my heart health. Trying to get my triglycerides down with a special diet. I pop one square in my mouth and let it melt while I’m drinking my coffee after breakfast. Let me tell you it taste like mud, but who said that everything that is good for you taste good? It’s really not that bad, but my family got to taste it and their reactions were hilarious. Like I said, I’m using it for my health. I cannot eat sugar, but if I could, I bet it would make a great hot cocoa. It’s expensive but so is being stuck with a heart medication that ends up giving you horrible side effects and really doesn’t do anything for you. I would rather eat this little piece of chocolate that taste like mud to improve my heart health than to damage myself further with big Pharma drugs. Since I stopped eating all the sugar and wheat and grains, which I was addicted to in the past, I now enjoy, bitter, tart, and sour.

I am allergic to sugar and don't eat dairy so this is perfect for me. It has a very distinguished bitter flavor that is perfectly mitigated by the cocoa bits. Sometimes I eat it with some almond or peanut butter and it makes for a perfect snack or dessert. No let or alkali in it either. Very good quality and worth the price.

This product is simply the best but with a high price tag..I think they're not genuinely priced..An over pricing can shrink its market share but it's taste is really awesome. 👍😊
