I only use PixelFlash readers and have never had an issue. For years I constantly battle readers that failed to read, fell apart etc. Then I searched what pros were using and it was these. Never looked back. Love the built in dual USB plug sizes, especially when splitting time between my PC and tablet. No adapters needed.

This card reader isnt USB3.1.... The cable that is included is a MicroUSB to USB3.1C connector, but thats about it. This reader isn't capable of 10Gbps.

i purchased this reader for the pixel-c tablet from google, since it has a type-c port by default. i got it at a reduced price as long as i affirmed i would give it an unbiased review. i have previously purchased other pixelflash memorycards and their reader, so i was comfortable getting this one. it worked easily with the pixel-c and the file manager i prefer (solid explorer) for android. it does noticeably read and write files on both sd and the micro sd cards faster than the usb 3.0 memorycard readers i used right before this one arrived, though i did not time it exactly i could see the transfer were moving faster. i attached a tiny magnet to the back of this small reader and also the my tablet, this way it doesn't dangle freely. as one of the first type-c readers out there, it does a respectable job.

Works exactly as expected, no complaints. It seems solid enough it wont be breaking any time soon.
