Is there a slight taper on the outside from bottom to top. I am wanting to use wire and hang them but will only work if there is a slight taper.

There is a very slight taper but probably not enough to hang safely. You might need to make a wire cross underneath to be sure.

What are the dimensions of each vessel please

outside diameter across the top = 2” inside diameter across the top 1 and 3/4” bottom diameter 1 and 7/8” height is 1 and 1/4” ideal for standard t light.

Can you make a candle in these holders? Will it take the heat while the candle is burning down?

I suppose you make a candle in any holder but I purchased them for tea lights set in Oak timber holders
