Fabric Water Shield, Water Repellent Spray for Fall and Winter Clothing and Holiday Household Upholstery Items, Long-Lasting Protection, Water Repellent for Winter Fabric, Four 10 oz Cans

I bought Scotchgard Fabric Water Shield to protect a new couch from spills and stains, and I’m really happy with how it worked. The application was very simple—it’s basically like using a spray paint can. I ended up using about 3½ cans to fully cover my small couch. After it dried, it did exactly what I wanted by adding a layer of protection that gives me a lot more peace of mind when eating or drinking around the couch. There are a couple of things to be aware of. First, it does darken the fabric slightly. My couch started out as a lighter gray, and after applying the Scotchgard it became a little darker. It wasn’t enough to bother me, but it’s something to keep in mind. Second, the fumes are pretty strong while you’re applying it, so definitely use it in a well-ventilated area and open windows if you can. Overall, I think it’s well worth the money. It’s easy to apply, works as advertised, and can help protect an expensive piece of furniture from accidental spills and stains. I’d definitely use it again.

This water shield works great and always has. I have been using it for decades and it still works just like it should. Well worth the money.

Love this product Scotchgard it really lives up to its name. It didn't leave any residue or stains on my kitchen fabric chair, in fact it protected them from spills! Satisfy!

I thought it would work better. I sprayed two whole cans on my sofa and don't see much of a difference.

I am restoring a1965 automobile and a friend and myself just put new carpet in when he suggested I scoth guard it to help preserve it. Great idea

Perfect brand.

Quality and quantity very good price Durable hopefully will be long lasting. Initial smell a bit off putting, if possible spray in well ventilated area but smell does disappears after awhile. No lasting smell

I've used this product in the past. I just bought a new couch and needed to protect it. Sprayed my couch with 2 light coats of Scotchgard and now it's protected. Dropped a piece of food on the couch a few days after and I was able to blot of the spot, which didn't stain!

Appli d on my sofa new....and it has worked well..easy to apply plus water repellant so good. High durability. Keep my sofa clean and safe

just be careful when spraying because if it gets on your floor it is slippery. Otherwise great product for your money
