Nice QUALITY vacuums!
We have had this vacuum and the 13" HushTone since March 2016. I clean an office building and my husband owns a carpet cleaning business, so we know how important it is to have good quality vacuums. Our current vacuums were on their last straw (and so were we). Between the repairs we were constantly needing to do, we found it more beneficial to go buy new vacuums. A new "COMMERCIAL GRADE" vacuum can start at $150 and go up from there. Our Current vacuums we are running are: Hoover CH50100 Insight-Quiet Industrial Upright, 10 Amp, 20 lb., 13" Path, Black which are corporate issued. They lasted us about 2 years no issues on the first one. The second one, we were finding issues after a few MONTHS! So, the hunt was on! I prefer the name brand HOOVER. I started there and searched commercial. These vacuums looked the nicest! When I read the specs on them, it sounded to good to be true! Let me tell YOU, these are NICE! Features I LOVE!: -The look is clean, crisp, professional -Adjustable sound hence the name Hushtone. There are 2 levels of dB sound... this is handy if you are cleaning while people are trying to work, it isnt as distracting. Some commercial vacuums can be SO LOUD! This one is PERFECT! Although it is quieter it does lose a bit of suction power, but no big deal. -Not too heavy and easy to push and manuever. -Easy access to all parts. The vacuum is designed to be easy access without tools. The use of clips instead of screws allows for quick fixes in case the magical sock fairy clogs your bristles. -Nice, easy to use, wand for edging and cobwebs. It comes with a couple of attachments to use (crevice tool, brush...) -The bags hold a lot (*BAGS NOT INCLUDED*) I believe there is only ONE bag included with the vacuum but would DEFINITELY recommend ordering this AND BAGS. You will be amazed at how quickly they will fill up because I am sure this is better that what you are currently using. -This vacuum has a wider track (15 inches of vacuum instead of 13) which gets the job done a little faster 2 inches at a time. -It has the RINSEABLE HEPA filter which pulls the dust out of the air! I HATE THE SMELL OF DUST! ( I have used vacuums that have had no filter... EW) -EASY assembly, Just snap it together, NO TOOLS -If the cord gets worn. YOU CAN REPLACE IT! NO HASSLE! Just buy a new extension cord. IT HAS AMAZING REACH with a 40 ft cord! I think most store vacuums have about a 20-25 ft cord. -Bag change indicator. If it is losing "suction power" there is a gauge that lets you know... red means change bag or something is blocking air. Green means go (obviously... LOL) I am sure there are other features that I am forgetting that are AMAZING! Overall, I will definitely be purchasing this brand again! Next upgrade will be the INTELLIBELT Version! (the bristles stop if something is stuck... since I am notorious for capturing the corner of a bed skirt or a blanket/ sock hiding under the bed.) -

Great value with features found on much higher priced brands. Love it!
Bought this to replace our 10 year old Kenmore. We looked at a number of higher end models as replacements primarily Miele, Ricarr and Simplicity brands. This was after looking at our go-to of Costco where every vacuum was a swivel head and had a vast majority of parts and components made from plastic and super narrow cleaning heads and eclectic trendy color combinations, loaded with useless gizmos. We have friend in the U.K. who lives by the Dyson factory who warned us to never buy a Dyson despite how nifty they look. We have almost 3500 sq feet of carpet which I vacuum every other day, narrow plastic vacuum heads just won't cut it. Trendy tools not needed, but good air filtration, HEPA filters and a metal bar at the front of the vacuum to prevent damage from sucking in harmful stuff was key. We don't have pets so pet hair management is not a must. For some reason I'm not a fan of the swivel head styles because it puts the pressure of the vacuum head on your wrist when you maneuver the vacuum and with our amount of carpet that's a problem. This vacuum was just perfect. Priced right, super long cord, wide brush (15 inches) and the upgraded never break band, and very quiet. It does have a removable wand for tight spaces or furniture and some basic tools- not sexy but functional. It's bagged which helps with suction and air particulate management. It's literally ready to go out of the box with no tools. This vacuum provides comparable cleaning and quality parts to the Ricarr and Simplicity at about half the price. Have had it for about 4 months and am very happy. Would highly recommend.

Strongest suction, reliable, sealed HEPA filtration, easy to self-service, "hush" mode, durable
The 1,200 Watt motor truly provides best-in-class suction. In use it is lifting the carpet, and to me it really can provide single-pass vacuuming. That is really deep-cleaning the carpet. The vacuum is used for commercial use, and I mean 1.5 to 2 hours daily. So, go through a lot of their bags. Their AH10243 allergen bag traps everything, and doesn't tear in the bag chamber unlike some cheaper made products. The HEPA filter snaps on along the side of the bag chamber and is easy to clean and change. There is this Hexagard carbon filter that mounts just inside before the HEPA filter, too, that is supposed to help reduce odor from the vacuum. What I really like is that Hoover made is super simple to remove the brushroller to clean it. No need to go hunting for a screwdriver and fear of losing screens. The original belt still looks new. Finally, there is a "hush" quiet mode which slows the motor and cuts the operating noise while vacuuming around people. It DOES reduce suction; however, it is a very thoughtful feature. Bag, belt, brush, filter changes are super easy. Tools onboard are easy to get to, and the hose is plenty long. If needing a longer hose that is what the cannister vacuum is for. The body seems build sturdy, too. So with that sturdiness and all those tools onboard, the penalty is weight. When tilted back there is more weight in hand (true of all these tools-onboard vacuums). And the generous 40 feet cord means you are carrying 20 Lbs. Luckily, there is a convenient carry handle built into the lower cord hook, and it does help a lot. Overall, a very thoughtfully designed vacuum that just keeps on working. The vacuum sucks up everything. Isn't that what a good, solid vacuum is supposed to do? I guess that is why Hoover is a verb over in Britain where they say they are Hoovering their carpet. UPDATE: 7-15-25--still going strong. Broke a piece off something called the wand clip, but it has no effect on daily use. If you compare this to Windsor, Pro Team, and Sanitaire, this vacuum is a bargain to purchase and even more so with the maintenance. I only wish the handle weight in hand was slightly lighter.

Powerful Vacuum With a Few Trade-Offs
This vacuum is a true workhorse, and I donโt see it breaking down anytime soon. I was pleasantly surprised by how long each bag lasts before needing to be replaced. The only drawback is the weightโafter a while, it definitely starts to feel heavy. To be fair, other brands Iโve used can feel heavy too, but this one is definitely a workout. The noise level is very tolerable compared to similar commercial vacuums, and overall, I think itโs worth the price for the performance you get.

Don't buy if you're planning to use the hose and wand.
Lets start with the positive - very good suction, maneuvers well, has a loop type handle - easier to pull. However - two significant oopses one of which can make it unacceptable for many - first - not a big deal but uncomfortable for sure - you have to unwind the power cord to use the hose / wand and as I'm at it if you wind it the way it's designed - on a short loop, it's very bulky (perhaps it's why the pictures are always showing the vac without the power). Second - this may be a deal breaker for many - the hose stretches with ease only 3'4"-3'6", after that you start feeling the pressure backwards. You can still stretch it to approx 4ft but it's becoming very uncomfortable to use the wand. You can further stretch it to approx 5ft but it's almost impossible to work the wand at this length. Pass the 5' the you will pull or tip the vacuum. If doing stairs, assume you'd be carrying the vac, not a big deal for me but I'm in gym 3x a week. For most people this will be super aggravating. Also the69db is for the lower setting. In full power the noise level is about 30% higher (my guess around 90db). Too bad I have to guess as the manufacturer does not give you this information and I posted this question but received no response (because it get noisy, of course). Personally I don't care for as long as it delivers great suction and it does. The hose rigidness however disqualifies the vac from more than one star. Add on top the cord winding on short loop which blocks the wand and the one star might be even too much. But if you're looking for just the vac with good suction - this one pulls coins without hesitation - go for it. Although a bit of warning here - as it picks up stuff perfectly from bare floors (nothing left and nothing spilled behind the vac), it does not work well on entry floor mats with w groves. Leaves sandy stuff in groves and requires using wand to get it cleaned. For one mat in residential setting not a big deal maybe but for commercial use rather a deal breaker, I'd say.

First Impressions
This is a first impressions review: We've had this for a week at my business. We like the two speed motor. The low speed motor noise is low but not super quiet. It is less than other vacuums though. The high speed setting is less or close to the "normal" vacuum noise level. The unit feels heavy duty, not cheap. The bag is bigger than the Y size we were using with our last hunk of junk, so changes will be less often hopefully. We love the unique cord. It comes with a pretty long cord but if you choose, you can swap out a shorter or longer cord because the machine has a plug on it. I've never seen that before. We purchased the wide model and love that it makes the job go faster. Finally, the suction is strong. With the winter sand and bits coming in the front door like crazy now, this machine is picking it all up. A+ marks for suction.

A Great Vacuum Cleaner, Solid Performance
This is a great vacuum, the second one of this model I have purchased. (One for upstairs, and now another for down). Heavy, solid, a power horse of a cleaner. The only complaint is the hose is rather short, has been continuously problematic, and it does not have a power head or floor attachment as other regular household Hoovers generally have. I

Excellent commercial vacuum!
This thing is built like a tank. It has Excellent suction power. We have been in the cleaning business for over 30 years and this vacuum is the best hard surface floor cleaner we have ever used and we have used many. It is heavy but I knew that when I bought it. In order to be durable, powerful and tough, it is going to be a little heavy. We have tried the Dyson, the Shark and other lightweights which work well for a while. They just donโt hold up in a commercial environment. The onboard tools and suction hose do a great job as well. An extension tube would be helpful to keep from having to bend over when using it on the floor or up high. This Hoover commercial vacuum does the job it was built for.

Good unit!
Overall I was impressed by the design and performance. I bought this as a replacement for a Tornado CV30 which I have used for years, however parts were difficult to get and very expensive. As some have pointed out, the hoover is heavier but I donโt consider it a deal breaker!

GREAT PRODUCT
The vacuum is wider than most other products and cleans more carpet quicker. Our concierge is using this "commercial vacuum" in our 9 floor building and has reported that it is the best unit he has ever used. More expensive than regular vacuums, but it will last much, much longer. M. B. Condo Administrator

Great Vacuum
Best commercial vacuum I've owned. Used in our building daily for the past few months. Cleans in the first pass. Even on the boost setting this vacuum is surprisingly quiet compared to other vacuums.
