A better replacement for my Char-Griller Pro Deluxe grates
After several years of use of my grill and eventually dropping one of the heavy cast-iron grates, I figured it was time to replace them. I purchased these and was immediately impressed with the finish of the product. The original cast-iron grates are extremely coarse and make it hard to get grime off, while these are significantly easier to clean. These also fit perfectly in my Char-Griller Pro Deluxe. As with any cast-iron products, these are very heavy, so you know they are the real deal.

Only had them for a week so far but they work well
Good quality cast iron. After they arrived I scrubbed them with a mild soap and water to remove any factory residue, gave them a thorough coating of vegetable oil, then heated them up on our charcoal grill for an hour on high heat re-applying a couple extra layers of oil during the process. Once properly seasoned they did their job well: they heat up fast, retaining and spreading the heat well as cast iron should. Cleanup is easy after cooking, just scrub with a grill brush or, alternatively, with a loosely crumpled up ball of aluminum foil, then lightly oil them up. They are rather heavy of course, but they're sturdy. My grill came with a metal hook for picking them up and moving them around more easily, but if you don't have something like that I'd recommend getting one.

Perfect fit for my grill! I love that it’s cast iron and has NO PAINT or chrome like the original grates did which makes it super easy to clean. I just let the heat from my grilling session burn off the remnants and then hit the grates with a wire grill brush!
