I've always taken pride in how sharp I kept all my knives, including kitchen knives. I discovered this sharpener a couple weeks ago, and it taught me something. I have NOT kept my knives as sharp as I thought! In mere seconds this knife sharpener brings your knives to a sharpness you've probably never seen before except in surgical knives. I'm amazed! And I'm no longer destroying my blades with a stone, which takes WAY too much metal off of a blade! This sharpener extends the lives of your knives by DECADES! I love it!

small but AMAZING
My favorite kitchen knives were getting dull and I was secretly scared of those scary electric ones. This little Victorinox sharpener is so gentle and intuitive, just three swipes per side and my chef’s knife was slicing tomatoes paper thin again. I keep it in the drawer and use it every Sunday while the coffee brews.

Press the Sharpener hard and it removes too much steel.
Great Sharpener for Swiss Army narrow blades, narrow Steak and pairing knives. Press hard and too much steel is removed from the blade. Suggest pressing lightly (a light grinding sound), inspect for sharpness and uniformity on both sides of the blade. Lightly oil sharpened Edge and wipe off excess. This is not for ALL knife blades - narrow blades that require a 20-degree angle, only. For $20, a great deal!

Best sharpener that I have ever used that didn't require a kit of whet stones and angled supports.

Ich bin begeistert von den Viktorinox Produkten. Ich habe zwei Messer und jetzt den Messerschärfer der tatsächlich so gut funktioniert wie beschrieben. Einfach die Messerklinge 3-4 Mal mit leichtem Druck durchziehen um sie auf Stufe 1 leicht anzurauhen und dann auf Stufe 2 3-4 Mal ohne Druck durchziehen um sie zu schärfen. Tolle Sache. Meine Messer sind wieder so scharf wie zu Beginn. Abgesehen von der überzeugenden Funktionalität sieht er in rot auch noch schick aus.

Aiguiseur efficace et n'enlève pas trop de matière contrairement aux aiguiseur en V en tungstène qui on tendance a abîmé les lames ,ici le disque en céramique tourne générant ainsi une friction douce qui va venir aiguiser votre lame, la qualité Victorinox est top !Il y a deux positions, grossiers et fin ,par contre si votre couteaux est très émoussé ne vous attendez pas a un miracle dans ces cas la un passage a la pierre est recommandé mais sur couteau qui a une géométrie correct et qui manque juste de mordant ça marche tres fort ! En bref un tres bon rapport qualité prix .
