Winsome Wood Claire Accent Table, White

Not cheap looking, perfect bedside table. Heavy & seems like it’ll be very durable. We bought this for our spare bedroom and I really didn’t expect much for the low price. Almost everything you buy today is flimsy junk so this was a nice surprise. My husband had no issues with assembly

This is a nice little end table that I purchased as a night stand for my bed. If you’re looking for a no frills basic real wood end table with a drawer then this is a great value. There are a few drawbacks that I’ll list but the value is awesome at this price point so I kept it at 5 stars. The previous nightstand drawer set that I purchased before this one from a local big box store was letting off a horrible odor. By the end of the first week I was getting headaches so I returned it. It was probably out gassing god knows what chemicals. And it was double the price of this Winsome piece! I’m happy to say that this Winsome table passes the sniff test. There is no smell at all. I also like that on the outside of the box it lists that it is formaldehyde phase 2 compliant, etc. It matches the description in terms of natural wood color. It also has a nice shine on it from the clear lacquer coating that Winsome uses. I wanted to find natural oil only when I was looking but it was cost prohibitive for me personally and clear lacquer is pretty safe once it’s cured. Some of the reviews I read before purchasing this table stated that it was not real wood which I can say is not true. All pieces are indeed real solid wood other than the slat that serves as the bottom of the drawer - which appears to be some type of cheap pressed particle board. So let’s get to dimensions to wrap it up: this piece is small but has enough surface to fit everything I need next to the bed. The drawer has a very shallow depth however and many things other than a remote control or similarly sized items won’t fit. The drawer appears larger in the picture. The table is a bit shorter than I would have liked but my bed has a high frame so it would likely be closer to level with a traditional mattress and box spring set up. I can still reach down to it easily though so it’s adequate. This piece took me almost an hour to assemble. And that was using a power screw driver too. Assembly was very straightforward. Overall this is a great little table, ships super fast, and is perfectly priced. Highly recommend it!

I bought this to replace a nightstand my ex took with her when she moved out, and overall, it's a great piece of furniture -- however, there are a few pros and cons to it: PROS: - Inexpensive (I bought mine on here for $32) - Real wood for the most part (from what I can tell), not cheap particleboard - Assembly is moderately easy if you're a logical person - Very sturdy and stylish once built CONS: - You have to build the *entire* unit from the pieces in the box; it's not "some assembly required." It should say "ALL assembly required." Unless you want to give yourself severe carpal tunnel syndrome, you'll need an electric screwdriver and, optionally, a set of slip-joint pliers. - The instructions, while detailed in their drawings, are nearly incomprehensible. There are three different sizes of screws, and none of them are labeled (and neither are the holes). All of the screws are also depicted as being the same size on the instructions, as well, so be careful which ones you use for each component. With a little logic and patience in its assembly (it took me roughly an hour or so to build it), you'll have a nightstand that will last you the rest of your life for less than $35, so it is indeed a good deal. It weighs approximately 20 pounds, and is just the right size for me -- not too big, not too small. I imagine it would support a lot of weight, such as a 20-inch or larger CRT television, with ease. So yes, for the money -- and if you can stand to put it together yourself -- it's a great deal.

I’m so happy with the Wood Claire Accent Table! The white finish fits perfectly with my shabby chic bedroom decor—it’s elegant but not overly fussy. The size is ideal for a side table next to my bed, and it’s surprisingly sturdy for such a lightweight piece. Assembly was straightforward, and it feels solid once put together. It’s practical for holding a lamp, books, or a cup of tea, while also adding a touch of charm to the room. Definitely a great blend of style and function!

This is a very nice end table and was not difficult to put together. I would buy it again.

Solid, attractive, functional. Not fine furniture but a great value. Hard to assemble unless you are handy with tools. You'll never get it together with just the little Allen wrench supplied. See pic for a solution (assembled product also shown.) You'll need at minimum a pair of pliers to turn the big screws with the Allen wrench, and locking pliers make task much easier.

I own several pieces of Winsome furniture (as well as many other brands of 'self-assembled' furniture) but this little accent table is perhaps my favorite in terms of looks and quality. I purchased this for use as a nightstand in my bedroom and it's a perfect fit in that regard. The accent table is made entirely of wood with the exception of the drawer bottom. I nearly tossed the drawer bottom away thinking it was part of the packing materials - then had a mini-panic attack thinking I was going to have to pack everything up to ship back because of a missing part. So, just as an FYI, the drawer bottom is a piece of white colored cardboard type material with a laminate coating (don't throw it out!!) Although it would seem too flimsy for use as a drawer bottom, it's quite sturdy once assembled; though I wouldn't recommend using the drawer to store anything unusually heavy. The box was easy to carry into the house and up to the second floor on my own; and I'm a light weight. Assembly was also a breeze as I was able to put this together on my own in no time flat; though help from a second person would certainly be ideal. It would be helpful to have someone hold the legs upright while securing them to the table top, as well as someone to hold the second level shelf in place while it's being secured to the legs. All hardware comes included but you will need a Philips head screwdriver of your own since the turn key wrench only works for some of the enclosed hardware. The screw hole covers (little, wooden, rounded buttons/domes) add a nice subtle, decorative touch in the finished product. I did find a minor nick in the wood on the table top, but it's hardly visible and it's been my experience that a few defects are usually the norm when it comes to self assembled furniture. Overall; I'm very happy with my new nightstand. The price is right, the quality is what I would consider to be above average and it's a very nice looking and functional piece.

We bought the end table in the brown wood color and couldn’t be happier! I was a bit unsure of what to expect based off of the mixed reviews, but ours is super sturdy and the color looks just as pictured. Putting it together was easy, we used a screwdriver with a hex head attached and we had no issues. A few times I needed my husband to help get the final bit of the screws to thread it, but it’s tight for a reason. That helps with the stability, you don’t want the thread holes to be the same size or else it would be loose and ill fit. The holes are smaller so that you can thread the screw in and it will make the fit perfectly snug. I’d expect this piece to be twice as much as its price it so I’m very happy! Seems like it’s made of solid wood and I can see it lasting a very long time!

Nice sized bed stand . Relatively sturdy. Nice finnish. Fairly good drawer. Nice design and easy to put together. I like the large alan screws and pre drilled recessed holes for then. Most is real wood only press board is in drawer frame but fairly good stuff. Gave 5 becuse of price. Orherwise a 4

I searched everywhere for the longest time trying to find the right size end table that was attractive, stable and at a decent price. I ordered two of these and am absolutely thrilled with the quality considering that they are not terribly expensive. Drawers are large enough to take remote controls and a few other odds and ends. Whole table is sturdy and colour shown (I purchased walnut although they do have other colours) is almost identical to the actual colour. Very easy to assemble except I stupidly used the wrong screws and put holes right through the top. Contacted the company, explained what I did and offered to pay for the replacement part. They emailed me back about a week later stating that the new top had been shipped and there would be no additional charge. Very nice of them & very generous; they obviously care about their customers. I highly recommend these tables for the quality and price.

Estas mesitas de noche son geniales. Me compré un par esperando no decepcionarme y fue una excelente compra. Armarlas fue sencillo, su instructivo es corto pero ilustrativo. El material se ve resistente, lo único que noté muy frágil es la base del cajón, todo lo demás es una excelente estructura. Llegó en perfecto estado, con todas sus piezas y bien empacado. Las recomiendo ampliamente :)
