Anyone using this with Iron doors?

Hi there, It is difficult to understand exactly what is meant by "iron doors" but Alfred deadbolts can by installed on any door that is prepared for a standard style deadbolt lock (2-1/8" main bore hole, 2-3/8" or 2-3/4" backset, 1" edge cross bore hole). They are also designed for the keypad portion to be exterior facing (sealed and tested for outside weather and temperature) while the thumbturn portion is designed to be on the inside part of a home (normal climatized living space). If your door, regardless of material, matches the prep and application noted above then you should be good. Thanks!

Will this connect to the ring alarm Z-wave hub?

Yes. This has a module built in. I use this with my security system and it integrates seamlessly.

Looked all over the "alfred store" but can't figure out: what's the difference between db1 and db2 series?

Apart from the design, the DB2 has everything listed under the DB1 but adds voice prompts and setup guidance in 5 languages, an inside multifunction button that can be used to lock the door or turn on Privacy mode, and offers the ability to add Zwave functionality in the future (via plug in module) should you want to upgrade your lock connectivity without replacing your lock. Hope that helps. Thanks!

Will this work with SmartThings?

Hi There, Yes you can pair this with Smartthings. The DB2 series Alfred locks are listed under the Smartthings app specifically but if you follow the pairing process there it will also work for the DB1 Series with Zwave. Thanks!
