⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Life-Changing for Our Great Dane!
As a Great Dane owner, finding a bed that truly accommodates his massive size and provides adequate support has been a constant struggle. But this Orthopedic Dog Bed has been a game-changer. We've gone through so many dog beds trying to find something that truly supports or giant baby, and this bed has exceeded all expectations. From the moment it arrived, I was impressed with the quality. The plush, yet firm, memory foam is incredibly supportive, not flimsy like some other beds we've tried. It cradles her perfectly, and we've noticed a significant difference in his mobility and comfort after she’s been resting on it. Our Dane absolutely loves it! She used to shift around a lot, trying to find a comfortable position, but now she just sinks into this bed and relaxes. It's become her favorite spot in the house. The size is truly extra-large, easily accommodating her entire body with room to spare. The cover is soft, durable, and easily removable for washing, which is essential with a drooly giant! I also appreciate the non-slip bottom, which keeps the bed securely in place, even when she does her enthusiastic "circling" routine before settling down. Here's why I'm giving it a full 5 stars: • Exceptional Support: The orthopedic foam is top-notch, providing genuine relief for my dog's joints. • True Extra-Large Size: Finally, a bed that actually fits a Great Dane comfortably! • Durable and Washable Cover: Easy to clean and withstands the wear and tear of a large dog. • Non-Slip Bottom: Stays put, even on hardwood floors. • Noticeable Improvement in Comfort: My dog is happier and more mobile. If you have an extra-large breed, especially one with joint issues, do yourself and your dog a favor and invest in this bed. It's worth every penny!

Best dog bed for arthritis, incontience and working dogs
I bought this dog bed over a year ago for my German shepherd I had just rescued. She was severely underweight, urinary incontient and dying of end stage arthritis. She was in a lot of pain and I was doing everything I could to make her comfortable. I bought this bed for her because I was looking for something that was waterproof and would support her joints. It ticked both boxes. She loved it immediately. It was hard for her to get on but once she was on she was a happy girl. I have another shepherd and they both would try to fit on it at the same time because he loved it to. In the end I only had 10 more days with her after I purchased this bed. But for those ten days it helped her be just a little bit more comfortable. On her last night here I even crawled onto the bed with her and slept there all night. It was the comfiest dog bed I had ever been in. Since then my other middle aged working shepherd has fallen in love with it. I made a wooden bed for it to go into and he sleeps on it everyday. Even in the summer, which is a feat because he usually hates beds in the summer. I have bought so many beds for him over the years and this is by far his favorite and the highest quality. When he was really sick and vomiting everywhere it was incredibly easy to clean. The foam covers are defiently water proof. Kept the foam clean and sanitary through incontience, vomiting, mud and fleas. I believe it's helping to prevent arthritis from developing in my current shepherd, even helping his elbow calluses go away. If something were to happen to this bed I would buy another one in a heartbeat. Even my parents little senior bichion will steal the bed when he comes to visit. He loves it so much I bought one for him in his own size. I have never found a dog who doesn't like this bed. It is worth every penny for your dogs comfort, health and your sanity cleaning. Buy it.

1 year review - best bed ever
my arthritic girl used to have a single layer foam bed, but after i noticed her having more and more trouble getting up and around, i decided to invest in something a little more supportive. this bed is double layered, with one foam layer and one blue 'topper' layer. both layers have a fabric cover around them, so there is no exposed foam. both layers come compressed in vacuum packaging and need a good while to puff back up. dont be impatient like me and message the seller when one layer doesnt inflate properly... give it time. a lot of time. thank me later. the outer zipper cover that goes over both layers is thick and super sturdy... and there's TWO of them! that way you can zipper from either side or zipper to the center. zippers are often the cheapest part of a product and prone to failure, but after a year of having this bed, they are basically still brand new. i never thought i would be so enthusiastic about a zipper, but here we are. this bed is soft, yet supportive. my 12 year old 80lb pitt/boxer mix snoozes on this thing like 12 hours a day. this is the bed a well loved senior dog deserves. and one extra thing i thought deserved to be mentioned - the stitching on the bed cover is in the shape of tessellated dogs. so freaking cute. when i have some disposable income, i want to get one of these beds for every room so my girl never has to lay on vinyl flooring again. <3

Five stars from me, but my dogs are less appreciative….
I carefully selected this dog bed when our oldest (and largest) dog started showing signs of lower back arthritis. What better way to help ease his sleep than by buying an orthopedic dog bed with soft foam? It’s large enough to fit a 125 point German Shepard mix and has a washable cover (a HUGE perk for me). The bed was delivered and I was so excited I put it together as soon as I got home! Surely they’ll love it, I thought. They’ll lay on it all the time. I undid the vacuum seal and put it together then laid it in a nice little spot. I was 100% certain they’d love it. Now how did my ungrateful little fur children react to this new quality piece of pet furniture…? They barely use it. Apparently they have a particular texture they find pleasing and while this bed gets some use, they don’t lay on it all the time as I thought they would. Welp, I tried. We still have the bed and keep it in a nice spot, but I guess you can’t please everyone. It still gets top marks in my book - even if the dogs (including the one with arthritis) don’t see it as I do. I plan to move it to other parts of the house to see if that makes a difference and can coax them into using it more than as a place to dry off after baths. So while this item may please you and is with the money, your dog may be more selective. ;)

Great Bed But Requires Patience!
The compressed memory foam is tricky. As some have reported, one of the mats (the bottom white one) failed to expand. Returned it as an exchange and another was quickly sent. Again, the blue mat expanded within hours but not the white mat. The next morning, unlike the prior order, the white mat showed slight expansion. It took 3 days to fully expand. Really appreciate the zipper openings on the short and long side of the cover -- so easy to insert the mats and close the cover. So many dog beds have white fake sherpa sheep skin tops. For our use they're too warm and get too dirty. This is one of the few that doesn't. It's used in a den/office type room where our Shepherd mix uses it on occasion. It's the 36" x 27" size and she is a good sized medium dog, 55 pounds. As you can see by the picture it supports her weight well and suits her size. It's exactly what we were looking for. 4 rather than 5 stars because there was no instruction or indication about the long period of time for the mat expansion.

Durable and Loved by GSD and Lab
This is our second purchase of the extra large bed. Our first extra large bed purchased two years ago is holding up well. We purchased it for our GSD (90 lbs). We now have added a black Lab (80 lbs) to our family. Both dogs love the original bed. I have never taken the first bed out of the cover. I cover it with a pet blanket and only wash the pet blanket. This second bed arrived unassembled. Not a big deal except that on assembling it I noticed the mattresses are not cut to the same dimensions. The egg crate mattress is fine. The blue foam mattress is 2 and 1/2 inches shorter in length and 1/2 inch shorter in width. I’m not sure if this will impact the bed except maybe it will become misshaped with use and not hold to its rectangular shape. I’m not sure. I let the bed rise for 72 hours before putting it together. There was no chemical smell. It rose to the expected 2” inches per mattress for a total of 4 inches. I am hoping this bed is as durable and well loved by both our dogs as the first bed. At present, I would certainly buy this bed again, if needed.

Thoughtfully Designed, Accident-Proof, and Boxer Approved
This dog bed truly stands out for its smart design and durability. From top to bottom, it's clear that the manufacturers had both dogs and dog owners in mind. The outer cover is easy to zip off and wash, which is a huge plus, but what really impressed us is that both interior foam layers are individually protected by their own waterproof zip covers. That means no mess ever reaches the foam — even during unexpected accidents. We purchased our first one a few years ago for our aging boxer, and we were so impressed that we added a second bed for another room. Over the years, we've had multiple accidents on these beds, and they've held up incredibly well — no lingering odors, no soaked foam, and no structural breakdown. It's hard to find a dog bed that’s this comfortable, easy to clean, and resilient. This one checks every box. A definite must-have — and our dog gives it two paws up!

Excellently Priced, Quality Made, Perfect for Fur Babies w/Arthritis & Warmer Coats
I'm one of those people that researches (ad nauseum) every new product before I purchase it lol. But even with putting in that time and effort, you can't totally avoid the lemons. However, every now and then your persistence pays off and this is one such product I'm so glad I took the time to vet, because I almost dropped a pretty penny on a much more (overpriced) bed! My 9 year old, 70lb shepherd/collie/chow mix stopped using his other bed recently and after some inspection I realized that the filling was done. During the cold months his arthritis acts up, and he has been napping on the couch and beds more to relieve it. So I wanted to get him a dog bed that offered sufficient support, while staying cool in the summer because of his double undercoat. I *almost* purchased the Sealy dog bed but read reviews about moisture getting trapped inside of the material and the fabric pilling and trapping more dog hair over time, making cleaning it a full time job. I also wanted to find a dog bed that we could purchase several of for the rooms in the house, that wasn't going to break the bank. I even looked on brand name memory foam mattress company websites to see if they made dog bed sized products, but to no avail. I saw this bed at Petco, but it was a Medium and wouldn't work. I was able to inspect it in person and could see that it was quality construction. They wanted *a lot* more for it in the retail stores as well. My pup doesn't stretch out when he sleeps, he prefers to curl up, so the Large was the perfect size for him (and doesn't take up a large footprint in my rooms). He also doesn't prefer bolsters to rest his head on, so this really was perfect. Amazon delivered it the same day and it came in a box so comically compact i almost worried I made a mistake lol but like all good memory foam mattresses, it expands very quickly once unsealed and is surprisingly supportive and firm (but not uncomfortably so). My little guy loves it and hasn't slept anywhere since :) will follow up with another review to report how it holds up over time and wash/wear, but for the price you really can't go wrong. This is a safe investment in my opinion :)

Bedsure orthopédie memory foam dog bed
My dog loves this bed and it is very comfortable for her. It is also very easy to wash and put back together meaning put the memory foam in the envelope. I recommend this bed for big dogs.

Dog loves it.
That’s his favorite bed so far. He loves it. And it seems to hold on pretty good after a whole month of having it.
