Very tough pole that works way better than I had hoped!
Awesome pole, and my wife loves it! I bought it for her because she wanted to start to use it to work out. The pole arrived very fast, and in good shape (thanks UPS) from Commercial Bargains (seller). I opened it up, and the pole came with a bag, and tool kit...plus all the hardware needed. It also comes with a disc that explains how to install, and an instruction sheet. Between the two, I figured it out just fine. So I used a level (magnetic) to hang on the pole to get it as level as I could. I used the level to check all 4 sides (north, south, east, west) while it was semi tight to the ceiling, yet I could still tap it left or right to get it lined up right, and tightened it up to the ceiling. I do recommend a friend, or someone to help you install it as 2 people really make it MUCH easier! Anyway, it was now straight, and lined up so I torqued it up to the ceiling nice and tight, and I mean fairly tight...don't be afraid. I did end up using some of my own tools such as a channel lock, or a smaller adjustable crescent wrench to tighten the torque rod. Then you spin down the locking nut till it is tight against the main shaft of the pole, and use the little bars (in tool kit) to cinch it down to the main pole. That will keep the torque rod from loosening while spinning, or using the pole. Then you simply use the 2 screws to put up the cover that hides the torque shaft, and install it....badda boom, badda bing...done! I am a "big boned" man, LOL and weigh nearly 300lbs. I put this pole up as mentioned with little effort, and gave it a spin...it held me just fine and dandy, and am sure it would even support a larger person than me if installed correctly! Just a quick mention though...after tightening it, I did give it a huge tug to make sure it would hold my weight, and also spun around it pulling all my weight while walking around it...then I gave it a spin! It spins great, and the ball bearings seem really nice! If you get any binding, it is probably because your shaft is not level. It also needs to be noted that it does lock down very easily to be a stationary pole...HOWEVER!!! I would HIGHLY recommend taking the 2 small "allen" screws that lock the pole down on the very bottom OUT, and going to your local hardware store, and getting some better ones! They are only .75 cents each for a MUCH stronger built bolt. I stripped out the ones that came with it and had a pain trying to remove one...I did get it, but immediately went to the hardware store and got a harder steel bolt to replace them. So overall, I give this a 5 star review, and REALLY recommend it! It is half the price of the X-Pole, and I am sure the X-Pole is a fantastic pole, and perhaps slightly easier to install (never used one)...but I do know that this one holds a "husky" 300lb man with ease, and was not hard to install. It is also nearly half the price as an X-Pole. As mentioned, though, I would buy your own screws to lock it down from spinning to stationary...Just take the original screws, and go to a hardware store...show them to an employee, and they will get you what you need. I bought mine from Commercial Bargains, and they shipped right away, and packaged it very well. The outer box had a few dings, abut the inner was perfect, and even if it wasn't...there really isn't much that can be hurt inside the box. Hope this review helped!

This is an excellent product when assembled correctly and the service and support ...
This is an excellent product when assembled correctly and the service and support provided by the seller was pleasant and exceptional! The product arrived 2 days after ordering in a brown cardboard box (with MegaBrand image on the box, nothing else), it was very well packed so all the parts were individually wrapped and nothing was damaged. I put together the pole in about 30 min following the instruction video on YouTube (the instruction came with the pole was not that great, highly recommend to watch the video on YouTube several times before trying to put the pole together). However, I've noticed that the flange sitting below the ceiling dome was rubbing against the dome, which makes it unable to spin 360 ( I later suspect that I might have raised the adjustment bar too much to cause the issue, you don't need to over-raise the adjustment bar as the ceiling dome is very big and provides a lot of grip on the ceiling). I struggled on for another 3 hours trying to fix it and eventually gave up. That's when I reached out to seller to request a replacement flange. To my surprise, the seller replied almost instantly, and helped me troubleshoot the issue (this was over a weekend). Once we've determined there's nothing we can do to fix it, the seller sent me a replacement pole base. I was convinced it was the flange so seller sent me another replacement flange as well (base arrived on the following Tuesday via UPS, flange arrived in 4 days in First-class). Unfortunately, when I tried to take the pole down to replace the parts, the adjustment bar locking flange got stuck (again, from me tightening it too much and stripping out the threads) and no matter what I tried (wrench, wd40, etc), it won't budge. So I reached out to the seller again and got a replacement Pole A (in the meantime, I was able to wiggle the pole sideways enough to take it down completely). After I received Pole A a couple days later, I was finally able to replace the parts and knowing the pole enough to assemble it correctly (no over-tighten of any part, the pole is very sturdy and won't shift around or come down like we've all imagined. In fact, it took me so long to finally shift it sideways to be able to take it down. I throw my whole body (135 lbs) on it and yanked very hard to move it ever so slightly. I felt like the ceiling was more likely to come down before the pole give in...). Enough said, now the pole spins perfectly and the stationary mode is very sturdy (no wriggle room as some of other feedback indicated, I found that you need to twist the pole a bit while putting in the setscrews to make them go in all the way and locking the pole tight). I'm extremely happy with the pole, it is smooth and well coated. Of course I'm just a very beginner in pole tricks so I can't say how well it is for different poses. But I feel safe on the pole and beginner climbing, clasping, spinning all work very well. What's more impressive is the communication with the seller, we've been emailing back and forth daily over a two weeks period and their willingness to help is very comforting. They are willing to send me parts without haggling and at no cost to me, which is heavenly when I'm struggling and in doubt with the product. I would highly recommend this pole and seller to anyone. The cost/performance of the pole is excellent and the seller is just the cherry on top. This is a true purchase review from my heart and I'm planning on up my pole skill using this one for the years to come! Thank you MegaBrand!

Love the pole. Plus intructions on how to make it spin.
I love this pole for the price its very good and it compares too poles that are $300. First when you get the pole it comes and discreet shipping it comes with everything that you need including all the tools and a DVD to set the pole up. I will say that the DVD is a little disappointing it doesn't go into detail about certain things like how to make the pole a spinning pole. I will say that the DVD does show you how to set up the pole in the correct manner. If you watch the video step by step it will guide you through have to setup the paul. My dvd had no sound no music I don't know if thats how are the dvd's are, I know that 1 person stated that they're dvd didn't work. I would definitely recommend for them to get a better dvd. If there are any problems with your DVD there is a YouTube page that has the same video on how to setup your pole. After you set up your pole you will be able to make it a spinning pole if you like. The only thing is that I didn't find any instructions on how to make the pole spin. so I will tell you, at the bottom of the pole the very very bottom there are the little holes that you use to screw to pole together, the bottom one is where the screws are located you must take the screwdriver provided or similar one that fits, put them into the very bottom holes and unscrew the pins you cannot see the pins from the outside because they are hidden in the pole but once you start unscrewing you will see the pin start to come out. Once that is done make sure you put the screws or the pins and to a safe place so that you can change your pole back if you please. Remember there are two screws or pins on each side of the pole. I have not yet taking down the pole but I'm sure I'm unassembling it will be the opposita clicking noise and that was because it wasn't at first when I put it up it made a clicking noise and that was because it wasn't straight. Your pole should not make a clicking noise or it should not be able to bend, it should fit in between the floor and ceiling perfectly. Once that happens this poll will not fall down. The pole has been able to hold everyone that's been on it for me so I'm assuming that it will hold people around 200 to 250 pounds, other people say it holds people up 300lbs or more. Overall I have nothing bad to say about the pole it's self, good buy .

Great spin pole! but static doesn't stay locked
I've owned this pole for a little over a year. I'm breaking my review into several sections: installation, packaging, use. Installation: I take my pole down frequently as it is in my guest room and pole sport is more of a "secret" hobby of mine. Once I figured out installation, it's actually a breeze to take down, take apart, and hide in the back of my closet. It comes in sections so it gets very compact. It takes about 5 minutes to put up and take down each time, now that I'm used to it. However I will say the instructions provided with the unit and found online are very unclear, but I eventually figured it out on my own. It doesn't even leave a mark on my ceiling but it does leave a bit of an imprint on the rug which it sits on. But that only lasts a few days and then the rug "relaxes" and it's back to normal. Packaging The box it arrived in was very discreet, had no mention of "pole" , "dance", "stripper" etc. Just "mega". Grip I use this pole frequently! About 2-3 times per week. Straight out of the box the finish was so slick that I had to use extra grip aid (dry hands, tac, etc). I was hoping that over time, I would "break in" the pole and the finish might become a little rougher so I could hold on with less grip aid, but it's been over a year of frequent use and it's just as slick as it ever was. It has not even dulled one bit – still super shiny. Not complaining! But don't be surprised if this feels way more slick than any poles at a studio (where dozens of people dance on the poles all day, for example) Spin/static I prefer the spin option – and it turns on a dime. In fact sometimes I really have to control my movements because this pole spins a LOT easier than the ones at my studio. I would prefer to have a extra-spinny pole so I don't have the dreaded loss of momentum in the middle of a combo. But I have to be aware of the spin difference between my home pole and the poles at the studio. Here is the biggest con for me: The static does not stay put! No matter how hard I tighten the bottom bolts. I can lock the pole to static and do some basic stuff, but doing a snakecharmer on this pole will immediately loosen it. I can't even do a chair spin without the static coming loose. If it wasn't for the slipping static, I would rate this pole 5 stars. Still, at this price, worth every penny.

I've had this pole for 7 years, ITS GREAT!
I bought this pole almost SEVEN years ago and I have to say, this really is the little pole that could. Extremely strudy, very easy to set up and take down, and has stood the test of time. I could not recommend this pole more, especially for the price. I have used it on static, on spin, for floor work, for inverts and tech moves. If you set it up right, it's not going anywhere and spins very smoothly. I've had it in four separate houses now: two in college, a post-college rental, and now in our first home. It's fit perfectly in all of them by using different combinations of the extensions. Some things to note: 1) the only time it's ever came loose was when I drunkenly put it up for a party in college and didn't use a stud finder or level 🤦♀️🤦♀️ (totally my fault) USE A LEVEL AND STUD FINDER 2) during one of the house moves, I lost the screws that secure the skirt at the top of the pole, I was able to purchase more through this brand, so replacement parts are available! 3) as with any pole, make sure the set screws that lock it into static are screwed in all the way for two reasons: one, you don't want to cut yourself on them and two, this endures the pole is truly locked in static mode. It's a little annoying to have to take the set screws all the way out for spin mode (and then keep track of them when they're out) but definitely not a big deal all things considered. 4) I've only ever cleaned this pole with rubbing alcohol and a cloth and it hasn't rusted at all. Again, overall you're not going to get a better pole at this price. ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND! 👍👍👍

Great first pole
Bought this pole late Saturday night, and received it Tuesday. Luckily I live only an hour from where it was shipped, unfortunately the box was horribly mangled with large holes on one side, this did not ruin the pole in anyway though; also there was not wording on the outside of the box that indicated that there was a fitness pole inside. I set this up for my girlfriend so that she could do pole fitness. The instructions for setting it up are pretty weak and the dvd was a little help but ultimately I just figured it out for myself. It took me about 30 min. to fully install and test out with my own bodyweight, I'm about 180lb and it was able to hold me just fine. I even gave it a few tugs with all my strenght to try and get it to budge but it is a solid as a rock. I used a level to make sure it was perfectly straight up and down which I would highly recommend as others have stated. I didn't bother using my stud finder on the ceiling since the ceiling plate is so wide I figured it would almost have to be over at least 2 studs. I'm sure that the next time I put it up it will only take me about 10 min. now that I know how to install it properly. The ball bearings for making it spin are not the smoothest but they certainly will get the job done, and are smooth enough that I was able to hang from it and spin with no problems. BTW this thing is an amazing workout, I'm an athletic guy that goes to the gym 5 times a week and holding yourself up on it is quit the upper body workout, I attempted some of the moves that you see in the training videos and there is no way that I could ever do them. I have a huge respect for pole dancers after attempting just holding my feet out while clambering to the pole. I might spring for a more expensive pole in the future if the situation ever arises, but for now I am very happy with this purchase.

Yeah!! I just got my X-Dance Pole from UPS today!!!
I am a "beginner" Poler. I have never used one, but living in Alaska, you tend to run out of ways to stay fit. I have done nothing but play all day on this thing and nothing I did felt like a "work out" I really recommend it!! Shipping time: Got pole in 7 days (including weekend) after I ordered it and 6 days before the end of the estimated delivery date! Shipping coast to ALASKA: This in one of the 2 reasons I gave this a 3 star. The shipping to AK was $70! Contacting seller: I tried to contact seller to ask them if they new of a better option for the shipping and never got a response. :( X-Dance Pole: This pole is exactly what I was hoping to be. After reading all the reviews I was so scared It was going to be warped or wouldn't have all the rite pieces to it, but non of that happened. Putting together: My Boyfriend put it up so I didn't have anything to do with that part, but he did it rather quickly! We looked online at the (X-POLE) videos and they saved the day. Damage to wall or floor: It has a silicone ring at the top preventing it from damaging the ceiling. We did use it and move it around. Strength: I swung around on it a lot and it didn't budge. My boyfriend jerked & pulled on it and he is 220lbs No problem! On Static: Well this is a lil problem because I tightened it and it kept coming loose. My boyfriend tightened it and it was fine. On Spin: All I have to say is... you better know what your doing and hold on tight!! lol So all in all I'm really happy with my new pole, it's very shinny and pretty just like in the photo. I hope this helps answer all the question I had ;)

Sturdy pole for any level fitness
The pole works great for me. Was easy to assemble, just make sure you use a stud finder to make sure it is placed correctly under a ceiling beam. I have mine on carpeting in a room with an 8.5' ceiling. Every month I tighten it just to be safe, but I've never felt that it was going to fall over or break. I do spins and inverts on it and always feel safe. You should invest in a floor mat as well if you're doing tricks! It spins really well and the screws in the bottom also work really well for keeping it on static mode. Pretty quick to change out the screws from static to spin mode. I have seen complaints about the seams of the pole but I can't feel mine with the exception of the seam at the at the cover on top. I've had mine for about 8 months and havent had an issue and I use it about 3x a week for at least a half hour at a time. I also use mine for yoga. I practice my headstands & handstands on it. Also great to hold on to for splits training or Y splits. Good to practice squats with too as you have something to hold on to. So if you're on the fence about purchasing because you don't think you'll use it for "pole dancing" as much as you like, know that it is versatile for other workouts! The only dislike for me is the fact that it's stainless steel so grip is not as good as if it were a chrome or other metal. It can be slippery and took a few months of use for mine to get grippy enough to be similar to the poles at the studio I go to. Always wipe it down with alcohol and get yourself some hand grip for extra grip during use.

100% satisfied with this product
Was easy to install even with my toddler around thinking it was a jungle gym. I'm super impressed with how sturdy it is because I had another brand before that I was constantly having to adjust which made me feel unsafe. This pole is SO worth the money and i believe is going to help me build muscle and reach the physical goals I would like to achieve while feeling 100% safe doing so. 5 STARS all day

Quality product with good value
Bought it for my wife to user for her fitness routines. She is very pleased with it. I used online tutorials on YouTube too figure out installation process and it was relatively painless and quick. The chrome finish is a bit more slippery (I'm told) compared to poles you may use in a fitness studio, but it's great quality. Would recommend for people who use for fitness.

Don't let big brand names fool you
This is the best pole ever, I've looked at all the bigger brand names like X Pole and lil' Minx, $300 more for them. This pole is easy to set up, very sturdy and well built. Worth every cent. Love it!
