What age child is this toy good for?

I bought for 18mo old last year, that child is now 30 mo old & still plays with it. A great learning toy & great to stuff in diaper bag for on the go. 5- stars

Is this baby/choke proof?

I'm unable to offer an exact answer to the question because I purchased the Buckle toy for a 2 and 4 year old who don't put things into their mouths anymore. Personally, I'm waiting to let my baby play with it until she no longer puts things into her mouth.

Unfortunately it was made in China, but my daughter loves it.
