I LOVE MILANO COOKIES.....
I found a very good deal for Milano cookies on Amazon. They arrived well packaged and with only a few broken cookies. Also, they were not expired or close to the expiration date. (which is what I expected). These cookies tend to be pricey at the grocery store so I only buy them if I can find a good deal. If you have never had Pepperidge Farm Double Chocolate Milano cookies, you do not know what you are missing. They are sweet without being overly sweet that makes you cringe after eating. Thus making it easy to eat the whole package. I'm ashamed to say these did not last as long as I thought they would.....

Inconsistent quality and flavor across batches
Out of the 4 bags, 2 were dated June and 2 were dated August. 3 tasted fine. One of the August ones tasted like crap. They had a weird aftertaste. I eat these double dark chocolate Milanos all the time and I’ve noticed a lot of inconsistencies in the quality and flavor, but this is the worst batch I’ve ever encountered. I actually threw them away, which I’ve never done before. I would not blame this on the seller.

Heads Up - Getting TOO Warm For Shipping!
***This is just an alert I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER IN HOT TEXAS*** First off I really do LOVE these cookies under normal circumstances. This batch arrived a gooey melted chocolately mess. Putting them in the refrigerator upon arrival did firm up the chocolate BUT the Milano experience wasn't the usual pleasant one. ***This is just an alert I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER IN HOT TEXAS***

Better than the original!
I like the regular Milano cookies. I have eaten hundreds to thousands but those can't compare. The ratio of chocoate to cookie is perfect with these cookies. The regular cookies always seemed like I was missing a little more chocolate. These kick up the whole Milano Cookie experience to 11. Pro: Lots of Chocolate Cookie Con: Dirty Chocolate fingers (can be removed by sticking fingers in your mouth region, nevermind, this is also a Pro)

Very fresh
Fresh, good taste, about $1.50 less than the supermarkets. Made some homemade ice cream and added these to it. The girlfriend ate it up. Would buy again at that price.

Best stuff there is
We all loved DoubleStuf Oreos. Well this is the same thing but for the far 'classier' Pepperidge Farm Milano cookie. When properly made, there are few mass production products of any type that had the quality and goodness of Milano cookies. Double chocolate just makes them doubly good.

The Cookies Were Crumbled
Sadly, despite the little bags of air in the box, the Milanos I revived were crumbled and melty. If your plans involved crushing them to make a cheesecake crust, then this would be of no import. But, If you plans involved having a few bags of milanos around, suitable for putting on a plate with a coffee or tea offering after dinner, you would be sorely disappointed. Caveate Emptor, and be prepared to wash the children's hands well, as they will be even more than usually covered with chocolate after eating the crumbled mess.
