This is not what I was expecting, I thought ...
This is not what I was expecting,I thought it was the traditional Turkish drink "sahlab" with orchid root powder in it! I gave it 3 stars just because it's still an ok product & shipped fast.

Not sahlab
I don't believe this product contains a single grain of sahlab. It is purely starch, sugar (way too much) and some flavoring. The drink is quite off-putting. I understand real sahlab is expensive, but don't sell this as sahlab, because it isn't.

My mom was used to make this when I was a kid and when I came to the US, I saw similar item at the shelf of one of the store close to my house and I was buying it for couple of years until they stopped to sell it so by accident I found this on amazon and I ordered one box of 12 pack (two pack in each box so basically is 24). It is very healthy and delicious since you have to make it with milk and is great for the breakfast. I love this product and I will buy it more often.

As close to the real thing as it can be. Loved it and one of the best choices available out there. Mine purchased on 10/3/2015 has an expiration date of 6/2016. Will buy again
