(Pronounced: Ah-si-ee) is similar to Tagua Nut as both produce palm trees and are sourced predominately in South America. But for Acai, the region of harvest is mostly northern Brazil. The fruit born of the Acai is quite popular these days as many people claim Acai berries offer powerful health benefits. Acai beads, however, are made from the dried out seedpods that produce the Acai palm. As each bead is a seed, and is designed by Mother Nature herself, there are subtle variations in shape from bead to beads.

I know they are natural product, but I have bought seeds for jewelry making before (not from this seller). There are companies that check the quality of the beads before shipping. The beads were cheap probably for that reason the quality. Some of them have two holes, some of them are cracked. I am going to count them to see if the seller ship 500 after that I may return this product.
