Hammermill Laser Paper

This is my go-to paper for my laser printer. It works perfectly, never jams and the 24 lb weight makes first-class copies. The whiteness is excellent too / love this paper!

This is a review for: Hammermill Premium Laser Print Paper. Aaah...paper. I love it. I have color inkjet printers and I have a color laser printer and I love them and I love printing. Remember when inkjet paper was dedicated to inkjet inks? It really made a difference. Well....that is gone except for high-end specialty papers sold as inkjet. Well...maybe not. Maybe there really is a paper that is as good as the old dedicated inkjet paper. When I looked for the best I could find for my laser color printer, I wound up buying this Hammermill Premium Laser Print. To get it you've got to get all 3 of those words right and in the right order because there are other papers from Hammermill and from other companies who use all of those words but not in that order. That is confusing. I hate it but that's the way it is. This paper is great for the laser. The paper surface is really smooth so the melted toner lays a nice glossy image on the smooth paper. It looks great. It's not as good as a glossy presentation paper for laser but for a plain surface paper it is quite pleasing and I'm pretty proud to distribute things I print on this stuff. But !! I tried it in my inkjet printers. Wow! This stuff is better than any of the old so-called "inkjet" papers. I mean it seems to holds the ink near the top of the surface of the page like the old dedicated inkjet paper used to do and it really displays bright saturated colors and dark dense blacks. And it is just as water resistant as any other inkjet paper I have used. I love it. So, I printed on both sides. No appreciable bleed through. I can see through it if I shine light through it from behind but such is the case with all papers. Now, this Hammermill Premium Laser Print isn't going to perform exactly like dedicated inkjet matte specialty papers or dedicated inkjet glossy papers...but...it is so close to some of the matte papers, I'm truly favorably impressed. I don't bother buying any other paper. As long as Amazon contues to give a decent deal on this stuff, I can't see any reason to use anything else. So, nothing is really worth 5 stars in this mortal world, but, I did it anyway because I hope to coax Hammermill to leave good enough alone and keep this in the product lineup. (I swear it seems like everytime I come to depend on some product, there's a revamp at the whim of some new VP or something and everything degrades forcing me to scurry for an acceptable substitute at the last minute without warning.)

Good quality laser printer paper. Print quality is excellent. Very vibrant colors and text. I have never used Hammermill before. Works for me.

Excellent! My top 1 choice among papers. Even though it says it's Premium laser Printer Paper, I use it for my Epson EcoTank L5290 to print The Good and the Beautiful curriculum -Math, Language Arts, Science, and Handwriting. So crisp texts, no bleed through. No warping of paper I love it!

The paper is great quality, but the shipping box was torn and some of the reams were torn open as a result. Only a few of the sheets of paper were destroyed. That is the reason for there are only 4 stars.

Hammerhill premium laser printer paper is a very fine copy paper for legal and perposals. I would not hesitate to recommend this paper to anyone.

Paper is off good quality, an I will be using staples again, they were quick at addressing any issues an did right by me, I will be a repeat customer in the future.

Hammermill Premium Laser Print is an excellent paper. It‘s smoothness puts it above all others for producing quality work on laser printers as well as on spirit duplicators. Good selection of different weights, too. I only wish the manufacturer would make a 20 lb. version of this paper.

I bought this paper to print homeschool materials (including Gather’Round), and I love, love, love it!! If paper can be beautiful, than this paper is that. The tactile feel of the paper is great, and I love that it is just a tad heavier than what I’ve used in the past (I typically buy the cheapest 20lb paper I can find, I’ve even used 16lb Eco friendly paper which worked fine but was super thin). I thought this paper may handle all the colorful illustrations well that is contained within the Gather’Round curriculum and it definitely did. And for 99% of what I was printing, it handled double sided printing just fine (it wasn’t great for any graph and table type worksheets due to being able to see faint lines from the reverse side). I typically don’t love the print quality of my printer, but this paper helped make up for that fact. Because the paper appeared to have a really faint sheen I was initially worried writing on it, but I tried a pencil and a few pens and it worked well with no smudging. I’m not sure if I would use it for regular, daily printing as it feels a little too nice. All around I’m super happy.

Great Value Paper. Nicer quality than regular sheet. Has a bit of a slight shine for its weight which I like.
