Dreamgirls: Music from the Motion Picture Soundtrack Piano, Vocal and Guitar Chords

I did not like the way the music was written. I am not a professional player, I had a difficult time with the key the songs were in. The songs were snot written in the same key as the recordings. I would not recommend this book,

I am volunteering as music director for my high school's production of Dreamgirls. Although I can largely play almost anything by ear, this music book came in very handy for some of the songs. The strangest thing I've found, though, is that the song "Heavy" is not only not in this songbook, but it's not on either the original soundtrack or the newer one. Since it is certainly a critical piece of the show, I can only conclude there must be some licensing issue with it. Nevertheless, the piano parts in this songbook were clearly written (simplified down some from what you find in the original vocal book) and helped me quickly move through teaching the songs to our students.

my students asked for a different repertoire and when i watch the movie liked the harmony and the rhythm piano accompaniment

Bought this item by mistake and just never returned it figured I would donate it to one of my schools

It has all the main songs from the movie, which is good. My only criticism is that some of the songs are not in the same key as the movie, so I had to transpose them.

Exactly as the description said! It's a great book and I personally prefer this version as it has 'I Love You I do' in it.

「One night only」のみの目的で購入しましたが、Discoバージョンは無く原曲と全然違ってがっかりでした。

伴奏の難易度が簡単なものから難しいものまで様々な気がしました。弾き語りしながら歌うにはちょっと難しい曲もあります。
