Overall is as described. The opening to add food could be bigger. Cat seems to be fine with eating her food out of it with no problems and certainly enjoys smacking it off the table when its empty. Good quality product if it cant withstand the abuse our cats put it through everytime they empty it and we aren't there to refill it the very instant it becomes empty. Would purchase it again.

I bought this to feed the wild rabbits and it's perfect. Holds a good amount and I didn't have to replenish every day. Love it! Heavy duty container that works well. What more can I say?

It's a great size, but doesn't let all the food out like it's supposed to, you have to shake the whole container for the food to flow out, other then that it does it's job

absolutely perfect, I dont think it quite holds 12 lbs but it holds alot and its a perfect match to my 2.5 gallon auto waterer...Our multi furbaby (3 yorkies and a balinese cat) house is happy!

Ok, this is a nice size and easy to clean BUT the food doesn’t come down by itself, I don’t know if it’s the food or the feeder. I put Rachel Ray dry cat food in it and they are small pieces. So I thought it wasn’t enough weight so I put more food in it but it still does the same. I have to give it a shake daily for the food to move down into the tray part.

Cats love it, holds enough food to not be annoying to change constantly. overall just works great. Very easy to fill without messing around and potentially spilling as well.

I bought this because I didn’t want to have to fill my cats’ bowl every day. My cats tend to eat at night, so I would have to fill their bowl every morning. Unfortunately, the food does not drop from this feeder. Meaning, there is plenty of food in the feeder, but it does not drop down to the bowl, so the bowl is empty and my cats are still mad at me in the morning and sitting around the feeder waiting for me to shake it up so the food drops down! I do not recommend this feeder at all. I’m thinking that if I can make the opening at the bottom a little bigger with my hot knife, maybe it will work as it’s supposed to work.

Works perfectly for feeding my stray cats. Top comes off easily to refill. I keep it in a sheltered area so the bowl doesn't get wet. It's the best one I've tried. In fact, I've ordered another one.

This has made keping our cat fed much easier, I dump in a whole bag of dried food once a week and it works great. I do need to give it the occasional jiggle to keep the dry food flowing but beats the heck out of topping up a bowl daily.
