I bought this because my son cannot be bothered to turn off the water in the bathroom. We have one for hot and for cold. They work perfectly. Solid product not the cheap plastic pretty crap they have in the usual stores in the area. I mean they have this stuff in rest stops and airports. Lasts forever.

That's the bill my landlord's plumber sent me for the missing 3 parts—those other reviews mention, along w/2.5-hours of labor (a small part of which is the plumber's trip to his shop for those 3 parts, & an $85 truck charge. Had Delta NOT consistently listed & be allowed to list this for 12 years as a BATHROOM faucet—when it's actually a one-temperature only RESTROOM faucet—none of this would have occurred. Since only the unfortunate homeless would resort to 'bathing' in a public restroom, this is in no way a residential/bathroom faucet.Those capable of switching out their own faucets would have recognized the unsuitably of this faucet upon unboxing it & sent it back exactly as some reviewers have done. I hadn't a clue, though, until I got the bill because I trusted the seller's description & Amazon's allowing it to be listed as a bathroom faucet for years despite customers' complaints. Amazon has been very good & done what they can cost-wise, but I'm still stuck with paying the plumber's bill for $732.31.To use this well-made, handsome faucet residentially AS IS, one needs TWO: one for hot water & one for cold water just as one reviewer has done. Because the 'metering' feature of this faucet automatically shuts off the water in 30 seconds, I must press the faucet's single handle down at least 5 or 6 times for comfortable temperature water—thanks to the $247.11 mixing valve the plumber installed—for my bidet seat. Fortunately, it's next to the sink; otherwise, I'd have to first stand at the sink repeatedly pressing the handle down until warmer water came through due to that auto shut off. As reviewers mentioned, auto shut off is ideal for households with children or those with dementia, but for the rest of us it's very inconvenient.Because the faucet lacks a way to shut off the water flow manually, I've learned to carefully push its handle down just a little or a little more, depending on what I need because a full press will make the water wastefully run for 30 seconds.I've also had to content myself with a very low volume of water coming out because it's an eco-friendly RESTROOM faucet. So, it takes time to rinse toothpaste off my toothbrush & I must really work at it to get enough suds to handwash something in the sink. This isn't at all what I expected because no reviewer bothered to spell all of this out. (I've been a shut-in for many years, so I have the time to get my thoughts together although it's an effort.) And I'm stuck with paying the plumber because Delta has ignored my message through Amazon & Amazon's message on my behalf.So, what I thought would be the ideal faucet benefitting me & the planet has turned into a nightmare since I certainly can't pay the plumber again to switch it to a true bathroom faucet that I won't be enslaved to.

This the one! Dont waste your time buying the cheap ones as you will replace them like I did every 4 months when they stick or break apart. The mechanical guts of this tap makes it well worth buying and will prove to outlast the cheepies many times over. Trust me, I had to learn the hard way, you dont.
