Is this safe for use on the tmj (jaw joint) and jaw muscles?

I was about to purchase this but there seems to be a lot of negative comments about the life of the pads or shortness of life. Any suggestions?

I have used the large pads at least 100 times since receiving the iReliev unit. First, use the pads on areas that are clean and free of any type of skin lotion. Yes, after the first 20 times, the pads lost their stickiness, but I took a clean, kitchen, non-abrasive scubby pad, dipped a corner in rubbing alcohol, cleaned off the surface of both pads, and let them dry before putting them back on the plastic keeper sheet. After this trick, they worked like new again! One needs to understand that our skin cells die and replenish daily, so it makes sense that dead skin cells (that we can't see) will adhere to the pads, and after repeated use, will build up. I've used my alcohol and scrubby pad trick several times and the pads have stayed as good as new. Don't hesitate to purchase this product! The relief it brings is worth every penny!!
