The spring action keeps a tight grip on whatever you attach it to. I found it also works great attached to the brim of my hat so I can do a POV shot with my GoPro. The material seems strong and I feel it's going to last for a while. It's small enough to fit in my GoPro case. I would purchase again in the future if I ever need to.

Honestly the quality is better than what I would have expected for the price. The clip itself seems sturdy and durable. Well made. The spring action keeps a tight grip on whatever you attach it to. I clipped it to the shoulder strap of a daypack and used it with my GoPro Hero 13 during two hikes and a few short walks over the past week. The clip stayed in place the whole time, even while climbing, bending, or adjusting gear. It didn’t slide or loosen, which made it easy to forget it was even there. The rotation and tilt features worked well. I could adjust the angle quickly without removing the mount or fumbling with extra parts. That helped me capture different perspectives—forward-facing on the trail, angled shots during climbs, and even a few side views while walking through narrow paths. The thumbscrew felt solid and didn’t rust after getting wet. I rinsed it off and let it air dry, and it still turns smoothly. The mount held the camera steady, even on rough terrain.
