Ugly Stik 6’6” GX2 Baitcast Fishing Rod and Reel Casting Combo, Ugly Tech Construction with Clear Tip Design, 6’6” 2-Piece Rod

I had unboxed this on my yt channel and here is the video after that ! This combo is a good combo . feels good in the hand and casting is good ! I had only a problem with the line tension knob but I returned it and have a new one on the way. I got the new one and it works great for the price very good rod and reel combo ! I would buy it again if I needed another.

This is a pretty good buy for the cost. Was not at all happy with the line that came with it, seemed to have been wound on wrong. Changed the line and everything is fine.

Great rod reel is super cheap though

To me, great little combo but then the last time I used a baitcasting reel was when I was 6 yrs old. The rod is great the reel is good and if you do the math the baitcasting reel is $20. So it is a good starter reel if you are getting into baitcasters, it's not the best but it will work until you can get something better. I haven't had any issues with the reel, most of the problems I had where my mistakes of learning how to use it. Update: I took it out for some saltwater fishing, caught a nice snook it was rough trying to reel it in but the reel held up.

Works to my satisfaction. And worth the money.

Could not get it to work. The reel was not reeling in the line. Not a good rod very disappointed

It’s a great rod and reel . Easy to use . Although I did not catch a fish yet . I am looking forward to using it again next fishing season.

Carrete muy basico, pero funciona muy bien

Se que el precio es bueno, pero creo que si hicieran el carrete de un poco mejor calidad, seria excelente para empezar en el baitcasting, pero el carrete tiene mucho juego y eso hace que se pierda algo de sensibilidad. Saludos

Nice rod it took a long time to come

The rod is perfect but the reel doesn't work. I've tried every settings with different types of lines but i've ended up with bird nests at almost any cast. When it didn't it's because the tension was high (had trouble casting a big buzz bait more than 10 feet). But it may be the one that i've received that was broken.
