Good as gold -- but made from ABS plastic
Recommended product. It matches my white pool plaster, seals the side‑wall vacuum port completely, and won’t rust (unlike the standard 304 stainless‑steel springs, ladders, and other parts commonly used in swimming‑pool hardware.)

Can find this size in stores, so you have to order. Pricey, but fits the 8" opening to my septic system distribution box.

It worked!
Somehow the cleanout plug in my front yard disappeared. Weird! Did someone steal it? Anyway, I replaced it with the Spears plug which fitted perfectly and is still there so far.
