Do i need to modify anything else ? or do i just add the body lift?

Nothing else to add but make sure you have enough slack in your gas filler hose you might have to loosen the clamp until it is lifted also the 2 bolts on either side of the gas tank are tough to get at. Lifting the body will twist your 4K heel drive shifter linkage but it will still work fine

Why doesn't this kit work with 05 and 06 6 speed transmission?

the transfer case is not the same mount
