Once opened, can remainder be frozen (102 oz)?

Absolutely! I portion mine into 4oz cups and freeze.

After opened how long before this goes bad?

I wouldn't eat it after it has been opened over a week. I removed the cheese from the can and put it in a Tupperware container and stored it in the fridge. After a week, it started to look like it need to be thrown out.

Is the can metal thick? fedex dented the can up something awful. are the cans sturdy enough not to breach if they get dented? i'm hoping so.
