Great Little Earbuds!
I am really hard on headphones. I mow wearing them, I do all sorts of work with them on, and I carry a set with me just about everywhere I go My pet peeve about many popular brands of in-ear type headphones, is how wimpy they are made. "Skull candy" and many other popular in-ear phones, have such thin wires, they usually break or give out on me within only a month or two. So then I am left with just one element working. This even happened to me twice even with "Rhino" brand, which have the heavier ribbon type cords. They are better about not tangling, but in my experience, any slight pulling on the ribbon cords can easily separate the apparently tiny wires inside the ribbons. So to me those were not at all worth the 20 or so bucks they cost me. I miss laid the last more rugged pair of headphones that I bought here on Amazon over a year ago. They were awesome, and I missed them greatly! In the Meantime however, I had bought another set of the "ribbon" type earbuds hoping to find the Amazon pair in the meantime. But I never found my best ones, and soon the ribbon pair broke, as had the ones I had bought a couple of years before this latest pair had. The second pair also did the "famous" one element thing on me as the first set had done. So I began a new Amazon search, in a quest to find another heavier duty braided cable type pair of earbuds to replace my original lost set. After an extensive Amazon search, these are what I found. They looked the best ones to me for the money. And after years of owning no telling how many in ear headphones, and having the vast majority of them fail or malfunction due to hidden or various wire breaks, here is my "test list" as to whether or not a set of headphones are actually worth investing in. First comes durability. After all, what good is a 100 dollar set of headphones, if they don't hold up for but just a few months? Listening in just one ear is a real bummer! So even a marginal set of cheap headphones that actually work on both channels, beats a high dollar pear to pieces that only has one element working . And while I have no definitive way of actually knowing whether or not this new set is indeed rugged enough for my lifestyle, yet they do seem even more ruggedly constructed than my last similar lost set I bought here on Amazon, And that pair lasted well over a year, before I lost them. So "by faith" and by the feel of these, I will give them a 5 on their "rugged" aspect. Secondly to me, is sound quality. And I do believe these are some of the best you will find in audio quality for under 50 dollars I believe anyone who wants better sound than these produce, will have to spend at least 50 dollars, or perhaps even more. They are very easy on the ears, and they have a very nice crisp, balanced, and wide dynamic range. They also respond very well to my equalizer and my sound enhancement apps on my android. So these earphones easily pass the sound test. Next though is usability. Is the cord long enough? Yes! Do the headphones have the annoying straight type headphone jack connector, or they have the much superior 90 degree connecting jack? Yes they do have the L shaped one, which to me is much more durable and much easier to manipulate. Do the earbuds stay in your ears? Yes! It is so annoying to me to have to continuously stop what you are doing and to be always poking your earbuds back into your ears because they keep creeping back out! But these stay put very nicely! Next, can you lay on your side while wearing them, without them uncomfortably digging into your ears? Yes. While they aren't perfectly made for laying on your side with, you can manage it fairly easily without too much fuss, and maybe with just a little "pillow work". And last but not least, how snug do those rubber ear thingies fit on the earbuds? Nothing, (Other than one element suddenly going out) is more irritating than pulling your headphones out for a nice listen, only to find that one of the silicone ear pieces is missing and it has fallen off, and no telling where! That has happened to me many times in the past! But while replacing the larger ones that came on this set, with another smaller set that was provided, I noticed that these silicon ear pieces fit very snugly on the earbuds. So it seems very unlikely to me that they would ever just fall off somewhere without warning. My only complaint about this set of earbuds is that the forward and reverse remote buttons do not work, Pause and play works fine, but the other two buttons do not seem to do anything. To me that is just a minor annoyance, because if I didn't have the remote feature at all, I would never miss it. So to me it isn't a deal breaker, or it isn't even worth subtracting a star over it. It is probably just a glitch in this particular set. But I felt in order to be totally fair, I must at least mention it. So these seem to be a great little set of earbuds, and I already love them!

Impressive sound, stylish, and good build quality.
Bought these to replace my Radius Atomic Bass 2 earbuds. They use the same comply foam tips that I currently use so I thought Id give them a try. With the OEM eartips the sound was ok. With the comply foam tips the sound was better than my Atomic Bass earphones. There was plenty bass and more importantly nice clarity in the mids and highs. I tested some Bose earbuds the other day and my Marley/Compy foam tips sounded much better. They are also very stylish and even have a nice grey carrying case. The build quality is great. The cord and connectors seem sturdy and the wood and iphone buttons (pause plus volume up and down) were solid. I was also told the microphone sounded way better than my old earphones. Update: I've been using these earphones every day to commute for almost a year. They have not broken or had any problems. If you carefully roll up the cable they won't tangle and you can then fit them in the great carrying case. Definitely a good buy for the price.

Worked great, sounds d quality was so so
Great headphones. Bought these and they still work. Came with three sets of ear tips and fit perfectly. My favorite thing about them is their design the aluminum and wood looks great and the cables, even though beaded, are suprisingly thin and tangle free. The only reason I gave it four stars was because of the sound quality. There wasn't a lot of low end but you get what you pay for and $20 for a stylish sleek design and decent headphones is a great deal to me.

7 years of use
I've been a customer with House of Marley for about 7 years now and over that timespan I've purchased 4 pairs of headphones from them. I've had no complaints in terms of bang-for-the-buck. The sound & build quality exceeded my expectations for the price point. I've been using them everyday for exactly a year and 2 days now, and they've held up even after all the wear and tear. House of Marley also has a great customer service system! I once had a pair die out on me after 3 months of use and they responded to my email promptly and gladly replaced them for free. I usually just throw them in my backpack along with all my school stuff without the carrying pouch it comes with and they're still in pristine condition with the exception to them looking a bit dirty since I got the white cabled pair. Though they're not advertised as noise cancelling, they're adequate for the library, gym or situations where you want to block off background noise, but in order to block off as much noise as possible you'll have to play around with the ear bud cushion sizes. I've since upgraded to a pair of Audio Technica ATH-CKS99i, but I'll definitely continue to use my Marleys as my casual pair.

don't buy this with mic
the sound quality is really awful! I tried few times to listen to the music but it is impossible, the sounds that are mashing in each other makes listening like torture. I had one without mic that I lost they were worth to price and the sound was really good, as I lost it I wanted to buy the same but by mistake I bought this one with mic. but I couldn't imagine that the sound would be so extremely terrible. it has some low noise even you haven't switched on audio file. by some type of instruments and by some type of letters like "s" the sound/voice impure! it is really impossible to listen music with it and have pleasure. As I am ordering from really far country i can't even return it so I throw 29$ in recycle bin. don't buy this with mic. They aren't even one star worth.

Take advice from the headphones destroyer
If you, like me, are one of those people that goes thru headphones every few weeks because you tend to constantly, lose, break, mutilate, and/or accidentally burn, or stepp on your headphones (not on purpose); then perhaps these are the headphones for you. The sound quality is good, and the best part is the rope like cable/connection.. No matter how much or how many times I pull it back and forth it doesn't break!! I had these headphone for over two month now and they still work!! Coming from me this is a miracle. One thing, the buttons only work with i-products. I have a droid so that's a downer, HOWEVER the headphones are good when taking/receiving phone calls (not the buttons) the sound is clear going both directions so that's good in my books. In conclusion, the overall quality of these headphones does justify the price, so this should be a no-brainer purchase for anyone with issues like mine. GET THEM!

Great sound weak design
Sound quality is very good. Functionality of mike, volume controls and button is good. Storage bag is nice. First the metal ends and wood (very thin shell) came apart on one earpiece. Super glue solved that. The a few days later the wood shell on the other earpiece broke. Superglue fixed that again. Thin wood and either weak glue or fittings will most likely cause this to happen to any of the same model. If you like the price, looks and good sound quality just make sure you have super glue on hand to insure they last.

Nice build, good sound, short lived :(
Headphones themselves - 4/5 - great sound, however the heaviness of the earbuds and wire led to a constant battle ensuring they remained stuck in my ear. The durable cord also amplified any movement you made while speaking on the microphone. Overall the style and sound of the earbuds were of a high quality, but this product was simply not built to last and the right earbud stopped producing sound after a mere 5 months of frequent (almost daily) use. I got a good deal on amazon so I am not terribly angry, as I don't expect much from in-ear headphones, but considering they appeared to be very durable it is quite a disappointment. Will never purchase these particular headphones again.

Molto belle!

Not bad, struggles with bass.
These are some amazing Earphones for the price. I've had these earphones for well over a week now and I've been using them as my daily earphones for an in-depth test. And I can honestly say that I am very impressed. The thing I noticed is that it struggles for bass when in your ears like a normal pair of earphones, until you really ram it in your ears, then you can hear the basses, but I did find this quite uncomfortable. But if you're not too bothered on the bass side of things, then sound quality is top level. In the box you can find the Earphones themselves, product and warranty information and 2 sets of spare earbuds, should you need to adjust the fit for your own ears. Sadly there was no case/pouch to be found in the bag, but this can easily be overlooked as it's not essential, it just would have been nice to see. The earphones themselves feel very premium. Featuring a very smooth and glossy aluminum tip as well as a dark sapele rim. And the cable connecting everything together is made of a strong tangle-free braided fabric cable. One thing I didn't know when purchasing this product, is that the 2 volume buttons on the control of the earphones, do not work on Andriod or Windows Phone. which I must say, was a bit of a disappointment. But if you own an Apple device, then it will work fine. The control itself is very straightforward to use. 1 Click to Play/Pause, 2 Clicks to Skip, 3 Clicks to Rewind. This is extremely handy, should you want to control your music without getting your phone out. Pros: - 5/5 Sound Quality - Strong Premium Design - Good Price Cons: - Struggles for Bass - Volume keys only work with Apple For my conclusion, I'm gonna say that I don't regret purchasing these earphones, as I feel they will last a very long time and I'm so far impressed with these. I just would have liked more bass and for the volume keys to work with my phone. I hope you are happy with these should you decide to purchase them yourself. If you feel this review helped you, then please help me by clicking the Thumbs Up button, it really does help me. :)

Geniales!
