Does the game come with the balls, or are they sold separately?

It comes with 4 balls and a pump.

Does this $159.99 version plug in or is it battery only?

Both. You can either plug it in or use 4 AA batteries.

Does this have 3 digit scoring? From the pictures it only has 2 digits (only goes up to 99). Thanks!

Yes, it has 3 digit scoring. My high score on solo is 134, lol. This is 100% worth the money. Ours has had heavy usage since Christmas and not a single thing has loosened up or had any issues.
