This is a well made unit
This is a well made unit. I ended up not using it because the one I had that came with the led light just need to reset the internal fuse. I would definitely buy this one if the original one ever fails.

very quiet but size it accordingly!
Intended to provide some backlighting using LED strips SMD5050 (6 in total) cut back to 30". Spec for the strips says less than 6 amps/72 Watt for 196" - so I thought the 60W transformer would be adequate. It's not - needless to say that the temperature control switch triggered within the first hour of use and the humming noise was noticeable.Upgrading to 300W instead has solved that issue - 150W might have been enough but I honestly didn't take my chances - the 60 bucks was just not worth it. Size the unit according to your use and leave room for contingency or make sure that you verify the consumption and not just trust the specs - would have saved me the money on the smaller transformer ;-)

Works well on LED strip lights... very happy
This thing is big but works well - I used it for a large run of LED strip lights that I wanted to dim through a wall switch. Because I was doing an attic install (where it get's hot) I wanted to properly de-rate this so I purchased the 300W model even though I am only burning about 120W or so.It's been installed for a few weeks and so far I'm very happy with it.In case you are wondering - the advantage of this kind of LED power supply is you can dim it on the AC side (via wall switches as long as they are magnetic rated) -- It works very well for that.

NICE FIND!! good price for LED dimmible load
bought to use with strip lights. Ran 5 strip lights per transformer for each over beam pointed towards cathedral ceiling so total 10 spools each with dimmable switch. These are awesome!! I can read by the lights and the transformers handle the load no problem. Wiring and mounting simple and intuitive.
