Using in Van Convertion inside and outside AC
I bought this for price and portability. Its lighter than my other stand alone AC unit on wheels. The head comes off with four screws and you can store the unit in smaller places for vehicle transport. The two handles makes a Huge EASE to move when needing to pick it up. I am using it in a van conversion. It is big for that, but i like that i can take it in and out. The low amp and watt IS PERFECT for my generator. I am happy with it. Immediate cold air. I did build a box to catch the heat and vent it out. Real easy to do. It helps to move the heat out of the van. Otherwise the heat does disperse RIGHT OFF THE UNIT. I use two bolts to hang the insulated box. The venting works great. And when the box isnt on the unit I store stuff in it. Thats why the box is decorated but its completely foam insulated and in the van the venting works. I probable voided any warrantee, but thats all right. I am making the unit versatile for in a small space and outside use in camp set ups. Very good fan blowing. Air is cool. Its only 6,000 BTU, so i can use with 2,000 watt gen. Hard to find an AC to use inside and out. Sitting at the van door, i can just aim it at me. Blows much harder than a regular AC. Jet stream force. In really hot conditions, converting hot air to super cold is hard. But it does a good job cooling you even in very hot weather. Using it in a van is an odd use for this, but I am doing it (shrug) so why not share?

Makes our back porch comfortable
I want to share my experience since there aren't lot of resources for this type of product. Tbh I was a bit skeptical before making this purchase, but I used this item for the first time over the weekend and it made a noticeable difference keeping our back porch comfortable in 90 degree weather. Unit was quiet and easy to move around. I'd only use this outside - I believe it's design that way - with the hot exhaust fan pointing away from the space you're trying to cool and don't expect miracles. This is just spot cooler to provide some relief and it think it does a great job accomplishing that. Hoping it will last a few summers, but only time will tell. So far I'm happy with this purchase.

Great AC with a punch
This is the only portable AC system with enough punch to make a difference. I've bought three units, and each is performing great with no issues. Depending on the humidity, the water reservoir can fill up within 8 hours or so, causing the unit to shut down. A hose can be attached for uninterrupted operation. This is truly a great product with so many applications: camping, garage conditioning, spot cooling, dog house, sporting event etc. I highly recommend this product.

Positive pressure AC unit for large boats
Installed on a 52โ Trawler for positive pressure AC/dehumidifier for interior of the boat I installed due to boat being at marina in the Florida heat and hate to wear out my expensive cruise air units in the boat while Iโm gone. This thing is amazing and keeps the interior temps at least 10-14 degrees cooler than outside temp. I removed the water catch pan and installed a hose to empty condensate to outside sink. Cool dry air always flushing through the boat. Installed at rear of boat and keep a small front hull hatch cracked to allow air flow. Very very happy with purchase.

Incredible Instant Heat Relief
Outstanding piece of equipment. I use it on Galveston Island where it gets very hot and is subject to a corrosive salt and sand environment. So far so good. It provides instant relief from the heat and humidity. At night I can cool down my workshop by pointing the exhaust out a personnel door. It is very convenient to have a drain pan instead of having to run a line. The pan holds water for about 8 hours of operation and is a breeze to empty. It has a float switch to shut the condenser down when full so no problems there. I highly recommend this product in the right application.

Great unit for grow tent. The company/source is
I have only been using this for a few weeks but it does everything I wanted it to do with no hassle. A 6" wide length of flexible ducting with a rubber grommet (both available at big box hardware stores) in place of the ducting provided by the manufacturer and I am able to blow in cool air to a 4x2x5 tent. The condensate collection tank has to be emptied more or less frequently depending on the humidity levels in the area. Unfortunately there is very little info or resources to provide a method of asking questions or offering tips, there is no forum and no website that I can find. This unit is found on Amazon and just about nowhere else. I would like to know for example if I could connect a condensate line in place of the tank so I wouldnt have to monitor it so closely but alas there is nobody to ask. Google TurquoPower PAC6000 and what you find is not a lot of info, just Amazon and various opinion sites like "top 10 coolers for tents" that sort of thing. The unit works great and I hope it does for a long time to come because it is perfect for my needs but I've got to ding it a star because of zero support and I would think to ding it two stars but it works so good that Ill have to stick with 4 stars. Lets get some support up and running!

let run for 15 min and then get in while its running and work inside or under dash and am cool and comfortable (also gets rid of
Use in garage to work on antique cars. Put 10ftt duct hose on it and stick it thru window, let run for 15 min and then get in while its running and work inside or under dash and am cool and comfortable (also gets rid of humidity). Under hood put sheet over open hood and get under and have a tent of cool air to work in without dripping sweat on everything. Live in Florida where temps get around 100deg F. Love this thing.

Pretty "cool" device.
I work on small airplanes and this helps keep the cabin cool on 100 degree days. The first one I ordered was heavily damaged in shipping but Amazon made it easy to return and get a replacement. The second one arrived in perfect condition. At 100 degrees air temp, I measured 68 degrees coming out the duct. It's on wheels and easy to move around. The exhaust put out around 120 degrees so this unit won't work well in an enclosed environment.
