Beautiful globe. I travel often for work and pleasure and purchased this globe to track the places i have been. (by putting pins into the places on the globe). The construction is solid map is easy/clear to read. My only complaint is that the tape around the center to mark the equator does not stick 100% and needs to be repressed every once in a while.

I really thought I did my research in purchasing a globe - and the picture looked lovely. Unfortunately, when I opened it up the two halves of the globe were poorly put together. The joint was very obviously and to me, it just didn't look right.

I gave this globe to my son in law for Christmas and he loved it! He has wanted one for a long time like this one.

I purchased this globe because I liked the way it looked in the picture. I read some of the reviews on globes made by this company, and some buyers indicated that the latitude/longitude lines didn't line up correctly when the outer surface of the globe was attached to the globe. When I opened the box and inspected the globe, I discovered that the map surface did not line up properly in several locations at the equator. The mis-alignment was very obvious, and I can't understand how this globe could have left the manufaturer in that condition. I returned the globe for a refund, and will not buy another product from this vendor.
