How do you sharppen your sheers with this fiskars

Hi. I place my hand as if I were cutting and open the blades. Then insert the blades in the slots. Then blades will be open. Now draw back and push together with some pressure. The blades will draw against the whettting rod. Repeat this process maybe 10 times. That’s how I do it. It has worked very well for me on scissors which are used constantly.

The description says it's for sharpening Fiskar scissors. How is it for sharpening other brand scissors?

It will sharpen any scissors that fit. Which is most of them. They’d have to be a Ceremonial ribbon cutting scissors to not fit.. lol
