I really couldn't be more pleased with this harness. Works for us.
This is one very well built Harness by IceFang. I have a newer Dobie mix who has the huge chest and small waist. These harnesses I would think could be adjusted to fit any size and shape of dog. By adjusting the straps, it fits my boy perfectly. He's a teenager still growing and I see that will be no problem. I purchased the harness with metal buckles and have had absolutely no trouble with it coming loose. That's a major concern for a big strong pulling dog like mine. Just to make sure, after it was all buckled I wove the excess back into each buckle. Easily done with needle nose pliers or tweezers just for extra measure. I bought this in Oct of 2019 and have not experienced any problems with it since. I walk my dog a minimum of a couple miles almost everyday. I use the front hoop-up because he was a strong puller. This had helped, but not cured the problem which is more due to him. He's really intense/nervous/stressed on walks. I have no idea what happened to him prior to me getting him or what he's been through. I recently learned in the last week that he is not aggressive, but is reactive. He's now on a very low dose of anti-anxiety medication and he is a calmer dog where silly little things don't bother him so much. Walks are now much less stressful for him. He still pulls a little bit sometimes, but now that he's more comfortable with his surroundings, he obeys better and realizes that pulling makes him go sideways a bit which takes away from his walk, so he quits that quickly. I feel this harness was well worth the money because it doesn't slide around (he couldn't get out of this if he tried - it needs to fit snug, but not tight), wear out or quit working/break like some of the cheaper ones. It's super durable and will last for years I'm sure. It's got great protective pads under each buckle which I love, so there's no rubbing on his fur, and if the metal buckles are cold (he has very, very short hair) they won't even touch him because of those great pads that cover the buckles which don't even touch him. Also, I get a lot of compliments on my dog and how great he looks in this harness and I have to admit he does look very regal. **One note if you bought a vest with the metal buckles: When you're undoing them, don't let them just fall down to it's sides as they could hit your dogs legs. They're hard and heavy and it hurts. I now unbuckle, but then hold onto them till they're lowered at his side(s).

Iโm Hype
Review Update (4 years later): We still have this harness and it is still working as fine as the first day I got it. Nothing in it has broken or begun to falter in its security. The only thing that has happened is some fraying of the molle, but thatโs of no real concern. I could not recommend this harness more. I will be purchasing one for my new puppy once he reaches his full size, as well. 10/10. โโ To say Iโm hype about this harness is an understatement. I canโt express how difficult it has been for me to find my dog a harness that both fits him perfectly and is strong enough to withhold his strength, but here we finally here. My dog, Jax, is a 6 year old, 65lb Pitbull thay has muscles on top of his muscles. Heโs a very girthy boy, especially in his chest, so almost every hardness Iโve purchased for him hasnโt been able to fit him properly, and if it did, it wasnโt strong enough and would break. Iโve had my eye on this harness for years now and was finally about to purchase it. As soon as it came in, I got it fitted on him and we went for a walk. My/his initial thoughts: At first, Jax was a bit hesitant to walk in this harness because heโs never had such a full harness before. It fits snugly against his legs (but not in a way that will cause chafing) so walking was wonky to him at first, but he quickly forgets about it. As for the fit, the straps that come along with it are exceptionally long, so there is ample room for adjustments to be made. I was able to fit it perfectly to him, trim off the excess, and melt the edges (not that I felt it was necessary, but just in case). Not only does this harness fit my behemoth like a glove, heโs also now a decked-out badass. I thoroughly enjoy the molle throughout this harness. Iโll be purchasing pouches for storing medical and hiking supplies in the near future to attach to the harness for when we go hiking. One more feature that I didnโt expect would make a huge impact is the fact that all 4 buckles can come undone. This allows for you to put the harness on whichever way youโd like, whether that be by slipping it over your dogโs head, or putting it on from around his side. One problem Iโve always had with Jax and harnesses is that he hates it being placed over his head, which most harnesses require. So being able to put this harness on a different way is a godsend for the both of us. This probably isnโt an issue for most dog owners (my dog is just an incredible baby), but I figured Iโd add it in just on the off chance that someone else experienced the same struggle. As far as the durability of this harness goes, this thing seems solid. Right down to the buckles that are extremely heavy duty. I canโt speak for its longevity just yet, but this review will be the first thing I update if anything unexpected occurs with this harness. All in all, I 100% recommend this harness. Iโm extremely pleased with it and now get just about as hype as Jax every time weโre are getting ready to go for a walk, all because of this harness. So if youโre thinking about it, just get it.

Updated @ 1 year of heavy use - Outstanding investment
Update: After a year of regular wear, this dog vest has held up beautifully! As you can see, Loki wears it everywhere, and has grown to be about 100# at 1.5 years old now, and he is still gaining muscle mass and girth as he matures. Fitting the vest as he grows is as simple as sliding the webbing out and re-securing. It takes a minute to resize and he is comfortable again. The only issues I've seen in the vest is the velcro is starting to deteriorate somewhat. I just need to trim frayed edges now and then, but its not sturctural. The metal clasps have seen some paint chipping off, but still hold securely and open/close reliably every time. The fabric has endured weather extremes, a few thousand burdocks (those were a big headache to pluck off), wet/dry conditions and so on. He has ran in the vest, jumped, played, swam, rolled, and even slept. Sometimes he sleeps on his back with his legs in the air, IN the vest, so I know he is plenty comfortable in it. I never allow him to wear it for more than 8 hours, and ONLY under supervision, but the only concerns I have there is that occassionally, if he has been wearing it a lot while being very active, his armpits rub a little. Its only resulted in minor fur breakage, but I keep an eye on it to ensure he doesn't develop a rash and loosed the vest a bit more? As you can see, I often clip a 1' training tab to the metal triangle clip on his shoulderblades. I LOVE that feature, especially with the handle right there too. It allows me to keep him close at all times, to brace against him easily, and to keep him safer by controlling his body when necessary. Thankfully he is tall enough I can use this vest without a solid brace for my basic needs. I also made a couple of MOLLE pouches (you can see the purple in the pic with his back turned) that work perfectly for the PALS panel on the vest. The secure easily and now he can carry a bit more for me with the weight centered on his strong shoulders and no pressure on his hips. The vest is not perfect probably, certainly not military grade, as one reviewer mentioned, I don't know that I would trust it to drop of a helicopter or anything, but for our simple lifestyle of city streets and occasional outdoor adventures, this vest has outperformed my expectations. ~~~~~~~~ Original review below: Nice product. Bought it for my 4-5 month old German shepherd/Malamute puppy in training to be my service animal. I like it because the design seems sturdier than most service dog vest designs and I need him to help stabilize me, as well as help carry items for me. Thats where the MOLLE attachments will be very useful when he reaches maturity and weight he will be able to handle safely. I honestly don't like to put a lot of weight on my dog's hips, so I got the short vest. That and in my experience, working dogs tend to be more comfortable with less belly straps going too far back on their stomachs. It seems to be easier for them to move and get comfortable when I ask them to settle for long periods. Maybe just my own preference though. My pup is 55# at very nearly 5 months and this vest just fits him now at the tightest setting. I bought large so he could grow into it. Luckily the belly strap (which may be my favorite aspect of this vest) fit very well between his forelegs and will not rub at all, though he has the deeper chest of a Mal, compared to a Shepherd. I also prefer the metal clasps, even for the extra $10-12 as they are easier than plastic quick releases for my fingers. They also seem sturdier (only time will tell). They seem to add significant weight to the vest though, so I would be wary of putting ANY extra items on the vest until your dog is acclimated and their joints have matured. Maybe I have just dealt with too much hip dysplasia and am getting hyper-cautious. Finally, note that this vest did slip off him with the leash clipped on the top, when he balked at something - with astonishing speed, he was free. I can't cinch it perfectly yet so a bit more size on the dog might fix that. For now I will be safety clipping the leash to his collar as well. If anything comes up with durability as we use this, I will edit this review. For now, everything seems to be of high quality. Thanks!

Best Vest / Company EVER
We LOVE this vest!! We bought it a little over a year ago for my wifeโs service animal. By far this has been the best vest we have gotten for her. We purchased the one with the 4 metal buckles (minaly because we loved the look, but also liked the added security). The vest while very well built is still light weight enough on the dog where she doesnโt over heat, or feel confined. The metal buckles allow for me or my wife to be able to quickly put the vest on or take it off of her (like with in seconds). We love the amount of Velcro attachment points there are. We have put a lot of different patches on it and they all hold very well. We give the vest 5 stars for stretch because even though the material itself doesnโt really โstretchโ like you think a pair of normal pants would it does allow for some give and after quite a bit of use it sort of molds to the dog. The straps that attach the buckles are very well made. We have no concerns of anything going wrong. This will be the vest We buy for any and all of our dogs in the future. I will say that recently we did have a buckle malfunction and lost a small metal piece that held the webbing in. However with that being said we reached out to the company on here to ask what kind of buckle we would need to buy to fix it. They offered to send us a new one if we could send pics of it. After we sent them pictures of the buckle that malfunctioned they told us that they no longer made vests with that one and instead they are sending us a completely new vest. This was totally unexpected and made my wifeโs day. This company has been so helpful with everything we have ever needed and has some of the best customer service we have ever experienced. When we looked at getting the vest to begin with we knew we wanted the Grey with 4 metal buckles/Large size but it was not being offered (said currently unavailable). So my wife reached out and asked if they would be making anymore. Sure enough within 24 hours they messaged back and gave us the date of when they would be available. So we set out alarms and ordered. Then with the buckle they were super quick to respond and the situation has been handled in under 48 hours. Again we cannot say enough nice things about this amazing company. I would highly, HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone looking for this type of vest for their pet.

First impression review
This is a first-impression review, as my dog has not worn this harness yet. Right out of the box, this harness is impressive. It does have some weight to it, so if you have a double-coated dog, you may want to keep that in mind during the summer or on long walks and hikes. The Cobra-style buckles seem heavy-duty and appear like theyโll last a long time. The stitching looks well done, and I havenโt noticed any flaws right out of the box. There is plenty of Velcro space for patches, which is a nice feature. The front no-pull D-ring appears to be securely attached, as does the D-ring on the back. The handle seem like it will do what itโs intended for, I wouldnโt use it for heavy pulling though. For the price, this harness seems like an excellent value. Iโll update this review after it has seen some daily use.

Quality Multifunctioning Vest
Iโve had his vest going on four days now and I really like it. It feels super high quality, looks very professional and I love that Itโs multifunctional. I have a 15 month old dog who was a service dog in training and after his neuter he started exhibiting some fear aggression issues which was extremely out of the norm for him. He has since been benched from his training while we seek help from a behavioralist to see if heโll be able to overcome his issues and return to work or has to be career changed. I was looking for a new vest with bigger patch space to upgrade him from his basic vest and figured this one was perfect. He no longer wears his service dog patches but instead I bought some โDO NOT PETโ and โNERVOUS DOGโ patches. We do not do public access training with him right now but for my own peace of mind I wanted to make it very clear when we go on outings like hiking and walks that he is not to be touched or messed with at all. I love that it has a decent amount of patch space so that if heโs able to return to work I can invest in more and not worry about not having all the ones I need. My boy is somewhat barrel chested and he still fits in the harness no problem. I love that I canโt not only adjust the girth of the harness but the neck area as well. Fit is very true to size. Heโs in the middle of the measurements for a M and ( heโs 55 pounds and his measurements were 26-27 around). I do pet grooming for a living and at the end of the day my fingers tend to struggle to undo clasps so the metal quick release buckles are wonderful. My coworkers all complimented him on his vests and I had a few of them ask me where I got it so they could get one for their dogs as well. In addition to this being a great working vest itโs awesome that the tactical style allows you to attach molle pouches so I donโt have to invest in an additional hiking backpack and when I do add on packs and pouches I donโt have to give up his pouch space. I was hesitant to order it at first due to all the bad reviews saying the front D ring breaks easily. Since my dog started exhibit reactivity he also has been pulling something terrible. We havenโt had any issues with the front D ring at all but Iโve been making sure to look at it before and after walks just to make sure. You could honestly fix the issue by doing a โXโ stitch to reinforce it but lord forbid a product isnโt already absolutely perfect and indestructible when you buy it. In my personal opinion the fact that a dog is pulling to the point of breaking the vest says more about the dog and their training than the product. It also has a decent weight to it and actually works in my favor because it makes my boy get tired a bit quicker but not so heavy that I worry for his well-being. I would definitely recommend to others and already have. I have nothing but good things to say about this guy.

Great working vest!
Great tactical vest for dogs! I got this in black and a size large for my 90 pound Doberman and it looks great! I love that there is velcro all along the sides for you to apply any patches or symbols of your choice. I got this in 2019 and it has held up very well except for one of the buckles breaking recently. five years is a long time for a product to hold up and last when itโs being used on a dog of that size so even though it didnโt last forever, it still holds the value for money aspect due to longevity. The harness is very thick and easy to use. The padding is great for the comfort of your dog, and you can feel the materials are good quality that are very durable as well.

This harness is a no-brainer! BUY IT!
This thing is completely AMAZING! So amazing that I just got back from the first walk with my dog wearing it and jumped on the computer to post a review. Lookswise, it absolutely goes well with his coat and makes him look so handsome and strong at the same time. I got a thrill seeing him with it on. (I got the Ranger-green with 4 metal buckles. In case anyone is wondering the color I got from the pictures.) As far as its intended use, it more than exceeds my expectations. It is extremely reinforced throughout his body. Since he is about 5 months or so, he's not an aggressive puller, but also not the tamest walker. So I chose to try the front-harness ring. It is like NIGHT and DAY. Walking this German Shepherd pup is now as easy as walking the most well-behaved Chihuahua. No more dislocated shoulders! A last note on sturdiness: He was trying to pick up something that was not the best for him to have in his mouth. When I threw it, he lunged with so much force that I wince thinking about how my arm would have handled that before. With the harness, it actually spun him around. No signs of damage on any part of the harness with such an aggressive pull. I didn't see any of the weaknesses in the D-rings that was concerning anyone else (and made me nervous about buying it). I can't stop raving about it! BUY IT!

Great Quality, Good Fit
The IceFang tactical harness is a really great quality product. I bought a large for my border collie as he was on the brink between medium and large. There is plenty of room for him to grow and he absolutely loves it. The fit is nice as he no longer has a dodgey harness that rubs behind his front legs. The harness does have a bit of weight to it which took my dog a little to get used to but all in all it's a very high quality harness.
