I bought this product to save space in my garage and get my bike off the ground. I have an old hybrid (commuter bike) that weighs a lot (steel frame). I found a stud behind the wall and screwed the hook straight into the stub, I used my own screws, but I think the ones it came with would have been fine. $20 bike rack, $300 car repair....
Worked great for about 4 days, then all 4 screws pulled right out of the anchors and my bike landed on my car. My bike was only around 30 pounds.

good space saver
work great, just have to find the right height for each bike so its not really hanging from the rim but rear tire is supporting the wight.

Not good for big wheels. Also the wall anchors are not the best.

Love the hooks
Living in NYC means space is limited but city kids need bikes. the space was previously used as the family desktop space, which got old after everyone acquired their own laptops. Great use of the space and it looks pretty cool. I've had a few guest not even notice the bikes lol
