So far I am impressed with this inverter. Have had up to 4200 amps for a short period and runs my 16k btu boat air conditioner easily. Since I don't have 400 amp wire running to it, I have the size mainly for starting air vonditioners. Although I think it may run both of the air conditioners at the same time, with only 18kw of battery, it would not be ideal. But I can run an air conditioner and and use a toaster oven at the same time, or two cooking appliances concurrently.

I like these. I buy and try many. I use in off grid schoolie homes, food trucks etc.. Big deal to know you get a true 120 Volt and not drtop to 115. Many apliances, things with computer chips tell you "must have 120V". I killed a new coffee maker learning this. 120-115v "IS NOT THE SAME". Many say that, but you want 120 only. This unit fits that bill for me and is one of the reasons I select these over others . These are large, but I like these over others. NOTE: dont let a 12 volt battery fool you. A 100 AMP hr battery can litterally melt ")" wire in a short, and even weld. Serious thunder to be respectful off. Cover-cover-cover the terminals and safeguard so nothing can drop on terminals. Lastly- Make sure you use a fuse "at battery" before running away. I use blade type, and typically over 200 AMP fuse right at the battery.

When I was looking for a inverter that would not break the bank for a solar project, this was the one. The inverter works as intended and have it hooked up to 2 garage doors, air compressor, lights, and a echo dot. The inverter safety features do work correctly so far. When the battery levels dropped to low for a hard test on the system. The inverter indicated that the input voltage and current was too low to operate and disconnected the power flow out to protect the items plugged into the system.

New inverter with display is much better than the older model. Shows DC and AC voltage and battery level graphics. Two inverters power the whole house. One for L1 circuits, 120V and one for L2 circuits, 120V. Only issue is the output mofsets can fail. The older model ran both circuits only one went into OL mode after two years. Installed this new unit only to have one mofset fail and went into an OL fault. This time I found one mofset had shorted. Used the older model to repair. Now units are running. Giandel responses to emails for service, but is slow to offer parts. Mofsets can only be found from China at $10 each plus $50 freight. Not good. Be prepared to watch videos on finding a bad mofset and replacing some if you run high loads around 2000 plus watts.

This absolutely works all my power tools off my trailer batteries/solar no problem! I think it may have a larger parasitic draw than advertised. It could be the cooling fans that come on even when I’m not using it. It’s not a big deal as long as the sun shines on the regular.

i have been an abusive owner of this inverter and put it through hell i never would have expected it to survive. it has literally had a gallon or more of water dumped on it multiple times and after some serious sparks kept right on chugging. i have never been able to put too much current through it no matter what i have done. 1 year of literally constant abuse what a tank. A++. powers my sailboat like a champ.

A "modified sine wave" inverter isn't good for running any AC appliances. Not sure why they still make this but you need a "pure sine wave" inverter. I didn't realize this and purchased this inverter. It wouldn't power a simple stand fan. It just kept beeping.

I did like this, it works great and the price is amazingly affordable!!

Lo q pasa q no funcionaron, la energía q almacen las baterías estos poco a poco la descargan, por ejemplo en la noche se quedan como a la mitad y en la mañana q el usuario necesita energía resulta q esta bien descargado..ocupo devolverlos no me sirvieron

UPDATE: I got a replacement the staff are amazing and helpful and the product is amazing. Highly recommend!!! Finally had a moment to install this inverter once opened I noticed the screen is busted. The tape on the box looked like it was open and closed again. Maybe at customs? Anyways I lm unsure if this is a used item or a delivery damage but unfortunately it’s broken ;(.
