Lightweight and pairs quickly out of box
This keyboard is very light and I purchased it mainly for home use because I am a touch typist and find the virtual keyboards of my phone too slow and annoying for proper sentences. So far I have used the keyboard on my lap, in bed, and on a flat surface and have been very happy with this purchase. I had not planned to use it away from home, but it's so light and fits in so many bags that I am anxious to try it sometime soon. No cords or batteries or charging cables needed. The only "game" I have used this keyboard is online Spanish lessons like a game. I don't think bilingual typing is as easy as the Google Gboard virtual keyboard because of the diacritical marks and accents. The first time I stumbled about a bit trying to figure out how to do type in a different language more easily. I will have to make sticky notes with directions for myself because it's easy to forget, using Windows methods and I was a long-time Mac user. I think I would have preferred the Android method of long pressing keys to access symbols. It's another thing to get used to and doesn't make this keyboard a bad product at all. This keyboard paired easily with my phone out of the box. The instructions were easy to follow. I like the different backlight colors. It's a nice touch and for those that aren't touch typist's should make it easier to use in low lighting or in the dark. The "f" and "j" Keys have a little bump at the bottom so you know where to place your fingers. The function keys at the top will be they keys most difficult to see in the dark because some of those icons are very small. I do not recommend eating around this keyboard. The backlighting leaves enough of a gap under each and every keyboard that you will spend a lot of time cleaning crumbs out. If you plan to carry the keyboard about, I would keep the box it came in or get a case to protect it. It's lightweight and made in China. At this price, if it lasts the entire 2 year manufacturer's warranty period, it is a good bargain because the alternative is spending too much time trying to type on the virtual keyboard of my smartphone. That wasn't working for me. It's cordless and since already paired, just has to be turned on to use each time without hassle. I also like that I can use it on other Android devices as well as Windows and iOS if the occasion should arrise. This review was made much quicker with this keyboard and I haven't come across apps that have a problem with a physical keyboard so I guess the system takes care of that.

Super slim, light, quiet & comfortable backlit multi-BT keyboard - PERFECT!
Back in July of 2020, I bought the predecessor to this keyboard - Arteck HB030B - which I absolutely loved - just wished I could switch back and forth between my Windows PC (later replaced with a Chromebook), my Samsung Galaxy Pro 12.2 and my Note 8 (replaced by a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3)... But it was quiet, the battery lasted a long time, it fit in my bag perfectly, I loved the backlight function, it worked great with Windows, Chrome OS, and Android, and it paired easily between my devices so I was as happy as I could be. Fast-forward 3 years, and I still loved it so much - unfortunately I managed to get some crumb or something stuck in it. I felt that after 3 years of its' devoted service to me, it didn't owe me anything when I only spent $19.99 and hadn't expected anything like the quality I'd received from it. I went to re-order it on Amazon and was offered the suggestion of a newer version (a dollar cheaper, too - lol!) so I took a look.. It looked the same, except... Hmmm... What the heck did they go and make 3 blue keys for?!? Wait a sec - is that - YES!!! 3 Bluetooth devices can be paired and switched through - I ordered it immediately, and it's as amazing as my first keyboard but switches between the Chromebook and two Androids like a knife slicing through hot butter... THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR ANOTHER AWESOME ARTECK BT KEYBOARD!!! I'm STILL a very happy customer! FULL DISCLOSURE: I had the pleasure of typing this review on my phone using the keyboard I'm reviewing... I don't think the keyboard injected any of its' personal biases, but I can admit that it can be very persuasive once you use it!

Works with iPad mini Gen 6
I got this for my IPad mini 6 cause I was in the mood to write something but not wanting to have to boot up my computer or invest in a laptop and I didn't want to use the touch keyboard. The keyboard worked straight out of the box, typing feels nice on it. I do feel like I would want to find something to keep it in for transport purposes due to it being so light weight.

Amazing keyboard; excellent value
I bought this keyboard for use with an iPad. An external keyboard allows you to utilise all the screen on the iPad (since you don't need the soft keys, they disappear). It's really made a difference using Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) on my iPad, and my productivity on any single document has improved several times over. Out of curiosity, I connected it to my laptop and I have to admit, I like it better than the space grey Apple keyboard I normally use. You're not supposed to put prices in these reviews, so I'll say it this way: you could buy seven Arteck keyboards for the price of one Apple keyboard. It's important to note that the Arkteck keyboard does not have a number pad, and the key spacing is slightly smaller than the Apple keyboard, but I don't think this has a significant impact on use. Pros: Ergonomic--I have large hands and long fingers, but I find the keys perfectly spaced; moreover, the height of each key contributes to a tactile reach, meaning that my fingers are better able to find each key by memory, which is not always the case with keyboards with much smaller key profiles; and the click-and-clatter of the keys is pleasant rather than jarring. The keyboard is extremely thin and light (but a weighty light, not a cheap light, if you get my meaning), and easily fits in my briefcase, attache bag, backpack, desk drawer, etc. Inexpensive--definitely not very expensive, but it has the weights and appearance, and general design of a more expensive keyboard; this keyboard's cost is so low, in fact, I bought several to give t the family, and to have at home and the office, as well as one that lives in my backpack for those just-in-case times. Back-lit keys--changing the colour of the back-light is fun, but the back-lit keys as such are extremely valuable when you find yourself in low-light situations; also, the lighting has two settings so you can find the one that best fits your eyes and the available ambient light. Charge--The technical specifications indicate 366 hours of non-stop use without the back-light. I can't say I've tried to run it in such a way as to test the claim precisely, but, using the backlight for about three hours in the evening and no backlight for around five hours during the day five days a week, and around half that on weekends, I can report that I haven't charged the keyboard for the three weeks that I've owned it, and it's worked perfectly the entire time. This isn't particularly different from my experience with the Apple keyboard, which has no back-light. Durability--I'm not particularly careless with the keyboard, but I've dropped it a couple times on a hard tile floor and experienced no issues with either its cosmetic appearance or utility. Cons: No number pad--this is the only issue I have with this keyboard, but to add a number pad would negate the form factor and one of its key features, size, since it is deliberately designed to be small and ultra-portable. However, if you are used to a number pad, you will notice not having one and it can make working on documents with lots of calculations a bit more trying than you might like.

EXCELLENT KEYBOARD!
Amazing customer service - prompt and responsive to any questions or concerns you may have. Do not hesitate to purchase this product. The keyboard is lightweight but sturdy, holds a charge for a long time, has backlighting which comes in handy and is quiet when typing. The layout of the keys is comfortable and I must say that after typing for many years on a variety of different keyboards, this is the best one I have ever used.

Works great, Excellent customer service, Just a few Cons
Pro's - $20 - Super light weight and at it thickest probably about 2 1/2 - 3 American Quarters in depth - Personally I use this for my Asus Netbook that runs Windows 10 and on my iPhone 5S just for the sake of testing. (The iPhone usability actually came in handy as I'm using this Keyboard right now to write my product review on through my phone. - Beautiful array of keyboard colors - Battery seems to hold a charger very wel although I can not say how long. But I can say that I've used it moderately for about 5-6 hours in one sitting playing a strategy game, so this should be good for almost anything you need to do until you're done doing what you're doing until it needs to be plugged in. Neutral - The instructions included were actually better than most products I have seen in the past with devices like this but as always I wish there were more information in regards to troubleshooting connectivity issues. Con's - The only indication of how much battery is left is when a blue battery indicator light constantly blinks letting you know that it's going to die soon. I wish when it connected to my Windows 10 device that it told you the exact percentage as I've seen with similar products. - The backlighting is excellent but to save power it turns off the lighting after 10-15 seconds when not in use. This is a minor inconvience to me as I sometimes like to play an old strategy computer game called, "Stronghold Crusaders." The mouse is mostly used but the arrows keys are needed to scroll through the game map. So you can see how this can be annoying. I don't see anywhere in the instructions on if there's a setting to change this feature. **Updated the Con about ESC key** - Manufacture was prompt in telling me after I wrote this review that pressing the "Fn+E" keys after I pair the device would solve this issue. I did as instructed and it solved my ESC button issue listed below. It's also mentioned in the instructions to do so. User error on my part. **Issue Resolved**- I haven't really tested the ESC button on other programs but I did notice that while playing that game, if I just press the ESC key, it minimizes the game and loads and Internet Explorer window. I have to press the Fn+ESC to get the Menu options I want in the game without it minimizing. - Lasty, this may be just a fluke thing with the construction of this keyboard I got but I've noticed that I have to press the, "L" key with a bit more force as compared to all the other keys. **Updating this to 5/5 because I respect a company that promptly follows up with user issues even though I wasn't complaining to them. My Con's list other than the ESC button issue still stands though. I give this a 4/5 only because of the minor Con's I have listed. Other than that this works great. I only hope this has longevity but at $20 if it works for a year I'd still be happy and recommend it. Pictures included are with backlighting on and of the size comparison to my Asus Netbook.

Connected easily; Love the backlight
This product connected easily via bluetooth to my major brand (shares the name of a fruit) tablet. PROS: 1. Price point. This was not expensive. A great value! 2. Backlit keys. The last keyboard I had didn't have backlit keys which didn't seem to bother me at the time, but once I received this keyboard, I was like "Wow, the backlit keys are much better!" You can turn the backlighting on/off by pressing the Function and the Alt key with the lightbulb on it. This also adjusts the brightness from low/high/off. I also like the ability to change the color of the LED lights. 3. While more narrow than a standard keyboard, it is still comfortable to type on. Even feels like a full-sized keyboard when pressing the keys. Key response is great, no observable lag. Keys seem slightly larger than other compact keyboards I've used. 4. Is held in place to the tablet's folding case via the magnet in that case. This helps keep the keyboard from sliding around and provides an anchor for the tablet so that it doesn't slide forward. The unit also comes with rubber stick-on feet that would also help minimize sliding, but I haven't needed them because of the magnetic aspect of the case. 5. Has a full array of function keys that likely work with a PC or Android-based system. 6. Sleep mode. Backlighting goes off in after about 60-63 seconds of non-use. 7. Connectivity. Instantly connected to my tablet via Bluetooth. So far I've had no problems at all dropping connection or having to reconnect. 8. Battery life. This surprised me as the product's marking claims "Built-in industry-high rechargeable Li-polymer battery provides 6-month use on a single charge. (based on 2 hours non-stop use per day and backlit off)" After the initial charge that came with the keyboard wore out and I fully recharged it, the keyboard lasted me a solid two months (9/13 - 11/19) of heavy use, without ever actually turning the keyboard to the "off" position -- I let it go to sleep mode but I never once moved it to "off." I use the keyboard pretty much off and on all day with the backlight on (not off as the time baseline suggests). So with heavy use and a backlight, charging the unit for about 2 hours after 2 months of use seems like a great lifespan. CONS 1. Battery indicator. You don't get much warning when the battery is about to die. The power indicator light basically flashes moments before the battery goes dead, not giving you any time to plug it in to charge. I've noticed this happen twice now. If you are not near a power source, you'll be out of luck. This too is manageable such as by charging the keyboard overnight or before leaving a power source. I wish there would be a way to show how much battery life is remaining. This may be a function of iOS rather than the keyboard, but that would give you an idea of how much charge is remaining. All in all, this is a great keyboard. If you found this report useful, please give it a HELPFUL vote.

Great keyboard!!! Battery life not so much.
This is a great keyboard given it's size and portability. I really enjoy using this keyboard as opposed to its counterpart which has an onboard touch pad mouse. The only negative that I have with this keyboard is that it has a relatively short battery life than advertised. The keyboard with the touch pad lasts MUCH longer than this one. I am guessing that since it is much bigger this may account for the longer battery life due to its size.

Works Great after Researching Windows bluetooth setting. Buy it ! It's a GREAT keyboard!
I wanted to like it.It had many different colour options. It was light (but didn't feel durable) and a good size. But it would go to sleep then disconnect and wouldn't work the next day. The bluetooth on my PC would show it as connected but it would not light back up nor would any key presses work. I would have to go through the whole reconnect the device through bluetooth again which you should only have to do once. So I've returned it. Review update: I was sent a new unit to give a second review. At first I thought I'd received another faulty unit. I reached out to the tech support but they were unable to diagnose the issue I was having. In the meantime I decided to order another brand of wireless backlit keyboard and also discovered it was having the same issue as my Arteck keyboard. Upon a bit of research on my own part I discovered that by default Windows sets the Bluetooth to power down or sleep after an extended period of time being idle. After switching this setting off the Arteck keyboard has been working flawlessly. I would highly recommend this key over those more expensive brands in a heartbeat. It is great and compact. Fantastic battery life and has many colour choies which those other pricier ones don't offer!
