Are your purchasing official shimano mineral oil in bulk and portioning in smaller bottles? or is it off-brand shimano mineral oil?

Hi, We purchase official Shimano mineral oil in bulk and rebottle it. Hope that helps, RSN LLC

Do I need to get a bleed spacer separately? Do I really need to detach the caliper?

The caliper can remain attached, wheel removal gives better access and avoids rotor contamination. The spacer is to prevent caliper pistons from being pushed out and can be any firm material. Nylon tire levers can work.

does this work with shimano BL-M640-B ?

Where is no reason it shouldn't work for your application
