Necco Wafers Tropical, 24 of 2.02 Oz Rolls

I would be willing to buy these Necco Tropical wafers again, but not at double the price I originally paid for them. I thought the twentyish plus dollars I paid was reasonable, but I think having to fork over a Ulysses S. Grant is absurd. If the price drops down closer to an Andrew Jackson again, I'd be more than willing to make another purchase. The flavors of the tropical Neccos are just delicious, in my opinion, and the roll is such an easy sweet to toss in my bag and nibble on throughout the day.

I didn't like the strange flavors of the wafers. I love the original Necco Wafers, but these were just too weird.

I love me some Necco Wafers. When I heard there was such a thing as a 'tropical' Necco wafer, I was immediately intrigued. Unable to find any in my local store, I turned to Amazon.Now, as of the time of this writing, I could get 6 rolls of wafers for like, 12 bucks US. OR I could get 24 rolls for 24 bucks US. You can guess which one I chose.The flavor is good. I do not like them better than the originals, but they stand up well on their own and are worth a purchase. Maybe not 24 rolls for personal consumption, but, you know, buy a few and give them a try. One thing to note, the flavors do not mix well together. If you get a Mango and eat it with anything else, it'll taste wonk. This is a departure from the original flavors which work well in any combination.So, now I have like 17 rolls left. I give them away to anyone that comes by the house. I mean, I'll probably eat them eventually, but 3.5 lbs of Necco wafers is a lot. I think I dreamt I was a mango last night.

I tried a pack of these while on vacation in Florida. I love the regular flavor Necco wafers and have been a big fan of them since I was a little girl. These tropical flavor ones are so good and I am now "hooked" on them. When I found them on Amazon, I got real excited and bought a 24 roll case of them....they are THAT GOOD!! I ordered them and received them in just under a weeks time which was great. I give this seller and this product 5 stars!!!

I always order this product because I love them. This last order was insulting The wafers were hard as concrete, and they had lost much of their flavor, they were tasteless. They must have been real old. I would have sent them back but I had already opened the package. The past orders were 5 star mike vero beach

Not my favorite - the original is still at the top of my list for Necco Wafers. If you want to mix it up and want a change - go for it. My bet is that you will like them, then go back to the original.

I have always only purchased boxes of the all chocolate flavor. I never liked the 'spicy' flavors of original mixed variety. The Tropical flavors are wonderful. Also, the texture is smoother - a bit creamer. So now I am addicted to the chocolate & tropical. Yum! 😋

Love this candy. Enjoyed it even more than the original flavors. Sorry to hear that the company closed. Being in business for so long and providing so many memorable candies this will be a great loss. Let's hope who ever picks up this company will continue with its products and tradition.
