This Nair is so much better than our early 2000's Nair. The fragrance itself is very mild to me, and there is no sulfur like odor at all in the process. It is gentle on the skin, just be mindful of wait times (don't exceed 10 minutes ever, and do shorter times on sensitive areas) and don't use it on broken skin. I didn't realize I had a cut in my armpit and I did not love the consequences of that. It wasn't terrible, but did cause me some irritation. The application is so convenient though! It has a dial on the bottom like deodorant, and you can apply it in a nice gliding motion. I used a small amount on my partners ears - lol, we applied with a Q-tip and left it for 2.5 minutes - voila. He was like "oooo I like this!". Just note - I have stubble after 2 days. The one who say they can go a week without shaving after use either 1. have slower growth than I do or 2. have lower standards for smoothness - AND it doesn't work on stubble.

I'm in shock! This stuff actually worked! I was afraid that it would either burn my neither regions or be an epic fail of hair removal. I was wrong on both counts. Having read reviews, though, I did my best to set myself up for success. Before applying I got out my Panasonic electric bikini trimmer and thinned things out as much as I could "down there." Then I carefully applied the Nair. I thought 3 minutes would be too little for coarse bikini hair, but was afraid 10 minutes would burn my skin, so for first time use I opted for 5 minutes. I kept my application to more "external" areas. When the timer went off, I followed the directions carefully using a soft washcloth and LUKE WARM WATER to wipe off. I spent a lot of time on this step, wiping gently (not rubbing any of it in if I could help it) and rinsing the washcloth between wipes, until I was fairly certain I had gotten most of it off. Then I got in the shower. I'll stress again the LUKE WARM WATER part. Using hotter water and the shower wand to rinse, I found that I did start to feel irritated down there. Water temp seemed to make a difference for me. I rinsed thoroughly twice, then used a mild castile soap to wash, then rinsed again. The results? Let's just say this stuff works almost too good. It must have been from moving around during the 5 minute wait period, but this stuff took it ALL off. I have a few areas that feel like stubble. These were areas that I had intend to leave some hair and must've gotten some of the lotion on by accident. But I'm personally THRILLED with the results. Shaving that area has always given me awful ingrown hairs and razor burn. Waxing is painful and expensive. I ultimately resorted to sugaring at home (no local resorts offered it). It was time-consuming, messy, and painful. This was literally pain-free for me and super quick. A few hours later, my skin did feel sensitive, so I'm currently using a gentle, organic calendula cream to soothe the area. But hey, if you've waxed you know how irritating that feels afterwards - this is nowhere near as bad. Unless I should have a skin reaction at some point I will NEVER look back and this will remain my bikini hair removal method of choice.

Didn't work very well, but I do have very coarse thick leg hair. These products usually don't work on me so I had low standards going in.

Love Nair for hair removal, and this applicator is so handy. I dislike the feel of trying to wash hair remover off of my hands, so being able to appy like this is perfect for me.

I really wanted this to work but it was a frustrating experience from start to finish. As soon as I applied it I felt a burning sensation on my skin which was really uncomfortable. I followed the instructions and left it on for the recommended time hoping it would get better but the burning didn’t stop On top of that it didn’t even remove the hair evenly. Some patches came off fine and others were barely touched, so I was left having to go back and deal with the rest anyway. Completely defeats the purpose. Honestly I’d rather just use a razor at this point. It’s quicker, cheaper and way less irritating. Won’t be purchasing this again.

I really like the deodorant stick application of this removal cream! It worked really well on my thick hair. The smell is obviously disgusting because it’s burnt hair. But it didn’t irritate my skin at all!
