I'm not sure what you mean. If you mean how long will it hold a charge without being used I would say quite a long time, like months. If you mean how long does it last while In use then would say I get about 8 hours out of it.

Do you know if is water proof? It floats ?

It said it was water proof! We take it kayaking all the time. Not sure if it floats (the kids haven't thrown in yet LOL) I don't think it would it is kinda heavy for it'st size??? It has a handle on one side that you could strap it to something! Hope this helps! MY husband loves it!!!!!
