Well Made. Great product.
It does the job of keeping the new mattress separated from Grampa's urine! I was going to clean it with Clorox wipes but the surface, though it is latex or "plastic like", has a flocking on it to make it more breathable & comfortable. Therefore, I had to remove it to machine wash it which is a two-man job since it is a complete encasement. We just ordered a second one so they can be rotated and makes the job easier.

Nice mattress pad for college dorm rooms
Used for son’s college dorm room. Fit great over the mattress and a thick mattress topper. I washed and dried it before use and it held up well after washing.

I would have purchased a different kind of mattress pad if I had recognized that is was an XL twin.
I can't tell if it is waterproof, as of yet. No spills. Doesn't feel waterproof? It is an XL twin because there is extra material. Causes some bunching of pad.
