Heddon Heddon Super Spook

Gets the job done. Action is good while walking the dog. Hooks are good but I would recommend to change the hooks for better hookups. Durability is also pretty good.

Good lure, good weight and nice rattling. I can launch it out like 346 yards. OK, not really even close to that but everyone gives some BS yardage they toss their rigs out so I wanted to do it too.

I have a few different Spooks in various patterns, and they are one of my freshwater fishing staples for bass. I recently went on a saltwater trip, so naturally I picked up a couple saltwater Spooks (silver mullet and red head). Unsurprisingly, they worked great - I was fishing in mangrove inlets and on a nearby reef, and nothing is more exciting than a fish hitting a Spook. I also used the non-saltwater Black Shore Shad Heddon Super Spook Fishing Lures (Black Shore Shad, 5-Inch) , which worked great until a small-ish tarpon bent out the hook at the boat after a long fight... I'm still swearing at myself when I think about it. I would have avoided that heartache and caught my first silver king if I has used my saltwater versions with their heavy duty hooks. But that tarpon exploding on my lure was one of the coolest moments I've ever had fishing, and I can thank Heddon for that. I ended up overcasting into some mangroves and lost my silver mullet, but I already ordered a replacement and am counting down the days until I can get back to saltwater. My only issue is the hooks often get tangled while casting - if anyone has a solution, let me know!

I love this product. the only reason I could not give it five stars is that the hooks could use some improvements. The first day I tried this lure out I was catching lots of fish as well as loosing them. I lost a 17 inch sea trout right at the boat due to the hook streighting out. I replaced my hooks with the mustad treblehooks and i was able to land a slot snook with no issues. The price is resonable. I recommend this lure for anyone who wanst to fish inshore top water. I also recommend upgrading the hooks for a perfect setup.

Great for stripper fishing.

Can't wait to use it.

Exactly what I was looking for. Good action, cast really nice.

best bass lure i ever used

Tiene excelentes acabados tamaño aproximadamente de 13 cm solo falta probarlo. Por el precio adquirido me parece excelente producto.

Caught lot of fish, can cast a mile using this lure, can try if you haven’t

The shipping was fast. Lure looks great and the side to side walking action is amazing. On my first cast it got crushed by a 6 pounder. Love this lure would definitely recommend.

Sehr guter Wobbler!

Nice action, sound , crapy paint job
