How long does the battery last?? few hours?? few days??

If used non-stop, my son got about 2 solid hours. Now he makes sure to fully charge it if he wants to take it with us on an outing. He also switches it off (the switch next to the charger) to save the battery, instead of letting it rest in sleep mode.

To view pics, must you connect (sd card) to a computer? .. or can you view right from the camera screen?

You can view pics /videos on the camera or your computer. PlayBack Mode: Select the playback icon from the main menu and press OK button to enter the playback mode to can browse local photos and video files. Press the delete button to trigger the delete function.
