We have a lot of minerals in our water and the tub gets stained pretty quickly. I have scrubbed and scrubbed with harsh cleaners and a scrub brush. I've used every concoction I can find to remove the stains without luck. I purchased the yellow set first, but the brushes were not quite stiff enough. It removed some of the stains but not all. So, I returned to purchase the red and the black sets. That did the trick! I used these brushes daily for about 2 weeks to remove the stains, and then once or twice a week after that. They are awesome. PRO TIP: Let the brushes and the drill do the work. Pressing down harder does not help most likely harms your drill and the brushes. Use firm, even pressure and make more passes. That will get the job done.

The brush works well with a drill, but you cannot apply too much pressure or too much speed. The shaft broke off loose from the large brush upon first use in my use because of it. The shaft did not come off, but it is not longer attached tight to the brush and it just spins by itself. The smaller brushes are more tolerant. The brushes are stiff and good for all kinds of cleaning. Unlike manual cleaning, much less pressure is needed when using a drill.
